     Petrified zombies march
       past displays of potato starch

     Onlookers stop to gape
at what’s depicted on their capes

     The clue connecting all this

It’s not that we are judging
But we cannot help but notice
Narrow responses from fellow souls
Which now no longer impact us
And so simply by exhaling

We turn the page of life

Shrug and move on, forgive, they say
Earth roles keep rotating
Be to become, a joy sun ray
God’s light scintillating

Love alone is, know this
Not the ego spawned hiss
Reclaim now, love-light-bliss

Our pain has gone
Shrug and move on

From the Lips of a Saint

From the lips of a saint
Escaped innocence-reducing ‘’,
As he sought to clearly paint
A scene of Twisted Luck:
A doubly exploded truck
Some bandits had brazenly struck…

From the lips of a saint
The sometimes hair-raising ‘’.
That would sparkling innocence taint;
Does it matter bandits had struck
To leave a once-alive, a dead duck?
In Holy Circles A Verbal Non -Restramt
And ever unwelcome

The World Will Simply Shrug

The universe will simply shrug

Bullets fly, wars be waged
People die, ‘pon worlds stage

Hopes and ambitions
Faith and traditions

Cold hard facts
And simple superstitions

All no more than
Wishful visions

All the world’s fine institutions
Despite man’s resolutions

In the end will be
Doomed to fade away

And the universe… will simply shrug
And go on about It’s way

A little tic, he’s crazy
Lunatic
Raving on destruction
Lunatalk

Oily black plumage
Greasy black eyes
Blurry with delusion
Dreary dark disguise

He cocks his head just so
so he can see your soul
and then he

SCREAMS IN YOUR FACE.

calms down to an embrace
of a little tic; he’s crazy.

Lunatic.

It's war he wages
thumbing pages
of your autobiography
stark raving mad
mumbling something about
dreams so sad
and shattered, shattered,

A Shrug and a Chug

Told my friend my trouble,
Not a word did he say,
Merely a shrug,
And on his beer a chug...

Why did I bother?
No one seems to care,
My baby's left me...
And I have no clue,
As to where...

A hole torn in my heart
And I don't know why,
Was this a love,
Doomed from the start?

Enjoy your beer,
My worthless friend
And after time grants
