Africa What I See In You

When I Google you,
I recognize the struggles and muggles you face,
I recognize the brutalities and the scars from decades of suppression and oppression which you endure;
The broken promises, failings and shortfalls;

I recognize the enormous work and  journey  ahead;
I see the repulse and self defeatist attitude occasioned
By broken hopes and aspirations;
I recognize the seasons and reasons for the youths failure to thrive,
In the face of monumental battles confronting them daily

When I Google you,
I recognize the unmistakable hurdles, scurdles, shuttles and scuttles;
The suppressed emotions, emissions, missions, visions, and vanquished voices of the voiceless,
The brazen helplessness, hopelessness and long worn faces
Of countless array of seen and unseen battles;
The dwarfed armoury of opportunities occasioned by lack of vision, mission, emotions to thrive, ride and drive

But,
I can also envision:
The salient, but countless unspeakable and unquenchable determination and desire in you;
The urge, surge, splurge, hidden treasures, pleasures, possibilities and the unheralded hope and abilities in humanity!

Premium MemberShortfalls on the Long-Haul

In long-haul dreams, we set our sights far-off on distant shores,
Assuming that each step, each choice, each twist, will open doors,
Will keep us heading steadfastly ahead, right on course!
Yet time reveals the dead-weight drag of our remorse.
Looking back on the shortfalls, on the litter of regrets stowed
As keepsakes to repay, all the time-wasters, for ransom owed.

perfectly placed within family values Father and Mother related
To worship the Child an Infant conceived Sacred
teaching every single one parables of this life
with deeply etched principles attached
To overshadow a mass deception mutating the truth
backwards never moves forward according to the Word
 that which carries total authority made from the Flesh
We are all sinners
wounds to be judged for the shortfalls
how little we have become as tainted children
Do we stand and be counted sheep
crying to protect the Lamb
or remain quite with the wolves
Who are a blood thirty lot breaking Divine laws
always claiming justice stands in their court of knowledge
whom tear down the true meaning of a family
never in a life time will they ever be right
I pray God be merciful to those blind afflicted
to grant them the precious miracle
which  baptises the very eyes
that enables them to see and love again

In the Buoy of November

The door is open,
To the month that precedes the year's end,
The curtains have given way,
The eleventh month has taken the stage,
A transition to the change of time and season.

The plans for the year are brought out,
The to-do list is run through,
The highs and lows are considered,
The shortfalls and superfluous are evaluated,
The ambitions are brought to the table.

Hope is threadbare,
Zeal is doused,
The succeeding year is in view,
Hope is to be deferred into its arms,
Gaze is fixed on where the eagles dare.

A pathway is sought through life's maze,
Light to suture the broken pieces,
Hope holds a periscope,
It admonishes a look through,
A medley of hope and light the weary heart seeks.

There is one thing a liar hates calling it poison
and that is to be educated by the truth
morally wisdom has superior knowledge based on fact
We can cast shadows over everything when justifying sin
such clouds are dark in those blinded by guilt

These words from St Therese of Lisieux strike it perfectly accurate
the world's thy ship and not thy home

How we captain this vessel entirely is the path chosen
in those that brand what is right and just
condemning every value as corrupted
centred around this one defence that persecutes
Standing by the Word you now become judged
and forced into silence or submission by unjust laws passed
under this genetic makeup never ever did I think
that the day would come that it would become illegal to pray
to our Blessed Lord for our sins and those of others
and show us Mercy for our shortfalls
This world is in a sad sorrow state of denial living under rocks
where every good family value is flushed down the toilet
and we all know the truth can never remain hidden
if we are wired the right way around the Bible

When I pause and seek to listen,
    To that voice that's deep inside.
My search often finds only silence,
    As if intuition has abandoned and died.

This moves me to sounds I observe,
    With perception that's experienced and real.
While exercising any lack of emotion,
    Where the technical outweighs any feel.

Now I realize the empirical shortfalls,
    are rarely guided by any moral debate.
Yet the need is both complex and basic,
    So that we sense a value, between love and hate.

Master of Your Fate

If you quit, they will take your investments?
they think you’re past your prime?
They’re ruthless?  Let’s do a reassessment.
Once upon a time…
Used to be, you would wake up full of pep
You’d race up the stairs and not miss a step.

Now your boss is obstinate, demanding?
Buddy, this is NOW!
Let’s see how he processes grandstanding.
Stage a cat’s meow.
Exaggerate, dress like an old grandpa;
Attract attention with a big hoopla.

Make this grand announcement: “Retirement’s
written on the wall,
due to unreasonable requirements.
How I hate shortfalls.
But could departure be an advantage?
Let’s talk about my severance package.”

~~~            ~~~            ~~~          ~~~
Daydreaming?  You are running late again.
Master of your fate, get to work, my friend.
A Piece of Clay
Very adornment it is,refuse to go away.Appearing again,again in my memory lanes like vehicles.A piece of clay to rumble the ways all I wanted to make everything that for me in my school days.Now working for my livelihood coming many things within my reach for money still some shortfalls in life unlike my school days with clay.Amazing this world that I let on to live with money everything how nice those olden days that a piece of clay played?
Beast of Burden
A life of burden and heavy loads
Protracted suffering and dead end roads
What crimes have I committed
That my fates are predisposed
To lonely pain, waves of rain
From endless storms of woe
I’ve faced down demons, slaughtered fears
More times than many have known
Worn the bravest faces
Prevailed in treacherous places
That many might dare survive
Lived through dreadful dreams
In vivid, wide-eyed, wakeful hours
Still I embrace every God-given day
Full of life and spiritual prowess
To confront new foes fate might summon
With faith, hope and mental power
When nightfall signals time for resting
I tally another day’s shortfalls
Then count my blessings
The next breath I take
Proof I’ve broken even
Still quite alive…
A day closer to life’s reave
Another day gone like the changing seasons
Years and decades have followed me here
The last chapter or word of our stories
Is seldom clear
When life’s anguish fades with our final breath
Have we claimed our reward or our punishment
When making acquaintance with Death?
You Are My King
You always catch me when I seem to fall
When my world turns dark and gray
I just say the Lords prayer
To get me back on my way
When I am lost in disarray
I find the answers when I pray
That you provide along my spiritual way
Puts me back on track
So I can deal with Satan flack
You gave us Jesus
Through him, we are free of sin
Through you, all mankind is a big win
Only then can we begin
To understand this life without sin
I seek the truth in your ways
May I walk with you all of my days
As I praise all of your loving ways
I am never met with defiance
Always reliance
In my alliance with you when I pray
I feel your presence in all of what you say
I will find the answers as I walk in your ways
I have learned not to blame you for my shortfalls
For you always light the flame
That tames my life every step of the way
Whether I'm at work or play
I know I can always bow my head
To hear you say
You are my king
Who makes all things possible
That truly makes my heart sing
Fall of Natural Beauty
Women’s wombs, I guess
have run short of materials
beautiful babies are not born
paintings, fittings are after birth
Inventors paint and finish
things pregnant mothers miss
beauty made by machines
and bought in supermarkets
repair shortfalls and damages
to create beautiful adult babies
so artificial and ordinary
My Christmas Dream is for a
More peaceful and calm world
For all of mankind as the clock
Of the twenty-first century ticks
Away before us and all of us seek
To meet the many daily challenges
And travails of life that impact us
And the planet we all live on since
The Earth is our very home for the
Entire human race, animals, insects,
And all of the varieties of sea creatures
And wondrous plant life that grows
And flourishes as part of God’s most
Divine Plan which is certainly worth
Our attention and desire to address
Our shortfalls and shortcomings in
Making sure that the Earth and all of
Mankind are compatible and we can
Meet the destiny and final glory that
God has planned for all of us—Amen
I Am Again One
Flowing through the space
Of my new found existence.
I am no longer chained
To the mortal shortfalls
Of my mortal being
Freed from the trivial pursuits
Of mans blind ambitions
And false dreams
Of hope and happiness
No longer a part
Of the sick and twisted realities
Of societies collectively corrupt mind.
No longer wandering aimlessly
Through the endless maze of conformity
But free to absorb the spectral light of creation
And the universal energy of existence
I am again one with it all,
I am again one with myself.
