A Moth, a Porch Light, Alone In An Open Window---

A MOTH, A PORCH LIGHT, ALONE IN AN OPEN WINDOW---

Owning up to his shortfalls may be his most difficult task.
Tomorrow mirrors that reflection.
In thought, he begins his introspection.
Standing looking out the open window, a moth distracted his attention.
He turned on the porch light thinking about how he was always alone.
He did not know why he kept the window open all night.
His analysis found he feared the unknown.
“May I concentrate in a philosophical mode?
Winter is coming fast and I do not want to be out in the rigid cold.
Sometimes I wonder why my mind has grown old.”

Larry had been a recluse for the last ten (10) years or so.
He was a nature walker and he wrote poems.
He was an electrician by trade and skilled in masonry.
He had designed beautiful architect.
His hands provided him an inventor’s intelligence.
However, Larry was always down.
He did not see the open window he looked out.
He felt that the doors had closed.
That he had lost his stance in the world.
Therefore, he caught moths in a jar and watched them wanting freedom to fly.

As he stood on the porch alone, a spirit appeared standing in his open window.
The moths were attracted to the light.
He fanned a moth away from his eyes.
Therein, he felt his eyes were deceiving him; therefore, he looks toward the open window once again.

A noise he hears.
He wakes up wet.
His night fever was on.
He was a pallor of fits.
His sleeping had embraced his condition and the clatter had awaken him within.
His demented state of being demeaned.
He reminisced.
He ruminated the moth while standing under his porch light alone but in his open window stood a pack of coyotes.

Premium Member My Christmas Dream

My Christmas Dream is for a
More peaceful and calm world
For all of mankind as the clock
Of the twenty-first century ticks
Away before us and all of us seek
To meet the many daily challenges
And travails of life that impact us
And the planet we all live on since
The Earth is our very home for the
Entire human race, animals, insects,
And all of the varieties of sea creatures
And wondrous plant life that grows
And flourishes as part of God’s most
Divine Plan which is certainly worth
Our attention and desire to address
Our shortfalls and shortcomings in
Making sure that the Earth and all of
Mankind are compatible and we can
Meet the destiny and final glory that
God has planned for all of us—Amen

TEAM OF CHAMPIONS ENDURING

"When faced with obstacles, failure is imminent, seek opportunities to succeed" - Floyd Neal

Team of Champions Enduring
we started with differing perspectives,
anticipating a perceived failure,
accepting the opportunity to excel.
Teamwork makes the dream work,
the team focused on its responsibilities,
with an assurance that the workload wasn't a liability
some days were tough,
but the team never surrendered to the challenge
Moving Forward Together, we shared the success
collaborative achievements were recognized with finess

Team of Champions Enduring
faced with obstacles and shortfalls,
when the odds are against you, don't
throw in the towel, use your creative mind.
When life serves you lemons, make lemonade
which accentuated our ability to succeed,
endurance is the key to longevity
inner reflection is the answer

Team of Champions Enduring
we refused to be defeated,
never giving up, yet continuing to strive for completeness.
Commitment is a foundational anchor
working for the common good
being a part of something larger than ourselves
the team rose to the occasion
Team of Champions Enduring, we are family

Premium Member The First Early Teachers

Those of our christian rights drew us a beautiful picture
perfectly placed within family values
Father and Mother related

To worship the Child an Infant conceived Sacred
teaching every single one the parables of this life
with deeply etched principles attached

To overshadow a mass deception mutating the truth
backwards never moves forward according to the Word
that which carries total authority made from the Flesh
we are all sinners wounds to be judged for our shortfalls
how little we have become tainted children

Do we stand and be counted sheep
crying in order to protect the Lamb
or remain quite with the wolves
who are a blood thirty lot breaking Divine laws

Always claiming justice stands in their court of knowledge
whom tear down the true meaning of a family
never in a life time will they ever be right

I pray God be merciful to those blind afflicted
to grant them the precious miracle
that baptises the very eyes
that enables them to see and love again

When a person promotes abortion
telling nothing but lies surely that in itself is a direct product of hate speech
The cloak and dagger of pity
reality has many masks behind a veil of masked deception
hiding dark secrets, those afraid to be revealed transparency
attacking honesty as having little value or purity
When this awakening happens some poor souls are lost
beyond saving trapped by the deceiver preaching untruths and misery
Incapable of loving forgiveness
instead they become a troublesome bully
guilty condemning everything right
in favour of what is wrong with society today
The great depression has consumed many hearts unlawfully
with warlike views it is here we see criminals attacking
the virtues of life and death the very cornerstone of faith
There is no middle ground to be examined in this subject at hand
your either one way or the other, according to the Word of God
I am a sinner forgive me my shortfalls
because in the end we all wish to go to the promised land
some things need to be said because the weeds of fascism is growing, smothering the innocent from speaking forthwith
the state has formed a new church teaching children to be poor within spirit

There is one thing a liar hates calling it poison
and that is to be educated by the truth
morally wisdom has superior knowledge based on fact
We can cast shadows over everything when justifying sin
such clouds are dark in those blinded by guilt

These words from St Therese of Lisieux strike it perfectly accurate
the world's thy ship and not thy home

How we captain this vessel entirely is the path chosen
in those that brand what is right and just
condemning every value as corrupted
centred around this one defence that persecutes
Standing by the Word you now become judged
and forced into silence or submission by unjust laws passed
under this genetic makeup never ever did I think
that the day would come that it would become illegal to pray
to our Blessed Lord for our sins and those of others
and show us Mercy for our shortfalls
This world is in a sad sorrow state of denial living under rocks
where every good family value is flushed down the toilet
and we all know the truth can never remain hidden
if we are wired the right way around the Bible

I Am Again One

Flowing through the space
Of my new found existence.

I am no longer chained
To the mortal shortfalls
Of my mortal being

Freed from the trivial pursuits
Of mans blind ambitions
And false dreams
Of hope and happiness

No longer a part
Of the sick and twisted realities
Of societies collectively corrupt mind.

No longer wandering aimlessly
Through the endless maze of conformity
But free to absorb the spectral light of creation
And the universal energy of existence

I am again one with it all,
I am again one with myself.

Premium Member If Only I Could Paint

Oh that my art were of color or stone that through these hands I might bring to light the passions which lay within the depths of my soul, a soul outstretched in yearning to be known yet confined within this worldly shell . Sadly I stand in clear understanding that though passion lives my hands fall short in their lacking leaving the artist pathway to such joyful fulfillment unknown .

Were my art of wind or string perhaps melody and tune could bring that desired fulfillment as magical airs soared to the ears and hearts of those who would hear my callings. Unknown heights my joy could know if my shortfalls were not so great, alas once more I am found lacking as the enchanted ways of the musician’s lure evade me.

Lo my skills are not of hand or melody thus laying upon me the burden to bring forth life, tune and color to this blank canvas before me, creating spirit through the blending of words and the weaving of breath into illusion of color . These meager attempts bring inner cries of folly, yet proceed I must in sole conviction the far greater sin falls in making no such outcry.
I suffer in these truths and humbly ask mercy, grace and understanding as I stumble along the only path allotted me.
Know me.

Beast of Burden

A life of burden and heavy loads
Protracted suffering and dead end roads
What crimes have I committed
That my fates are predisposed
To lonely pain, waves of rain
From endless storms of woe
I’ve faced down demons, slaughtered fears
More times than many have known
Worn the bravest faces
Prevailed in treacherous places
That many might dare survive
Lived through dreadful dreams
In vivid, wide-eyed, wakeful hours
Still I embrace every God-given day
Full of life and spiritual prowess
To confront new foes fate might summon
With faith, hope and mental power
When nightfall signals time for resting
I tally another day’s shortfalls
Then count my blessings
The next breath I take
Proof I’ve broken even
Still quite alive…
A day closer to life’s reave
Another day gone like the changing seasons
Years and decades have followed me here
The last chapter or word of our stories
Is seldom clear
When life’s anguish fades with our final breath
Have we claimed our reward or our punishment
When making acquaintance with Death?

Premium Member Alone

You used to come and visit
You don't come by anymore
I waited many hours
Hoping you'd walk through the door

I miss our conversations
You're the one who knew me best
I shared all my happy thoughts
And my shortfalls I confessed

I know I'm far from perfect
Have I scared my friend away
Without you here beside me
I feel so lost everyday

I got tired of waiting
So I called you on the phone
You feared I was mad at you
As you sat home all alone

Artificial Sentience

Artificial Sentience

Another bad idea doing a number on the gist of guilt
Of nothing new,
the same old talking points voodoo
Of everything left to prove
Of everything left to hide
Sides being taken, swilling back another last gasp
Zoning in and out, coming to
To all those pointed questions:
What must be done?
Which paradox to run?
What will be the sum of none?
Avoiding the cringing flashbacks and their disgraces
All those stern mitigating faces
Plying
what might resemble admonitions to-go
Contritions missing
from that room without windows

These erratic fevers whamrushing setpiece pushbacks
Acumen fraught with blowback is
doubling down on the narrative
The behaving-badly-caving, jonsing-gutcheck—not so much
Clutching the darkthings
that want to be, but are not yet actually
Conjuring of a reality that is not real
The feel of it rather, its scintillating untruth
Earmarking spurious tipping points as proof
Swooning for a forced, rigid
control of thought and meaning
No need of rights,
only rules and preening

Lying lifers living the doom and getting lost
Transparency shortfalls sexting another buff buzz-off
Fast tracking dosing options; hedging the flux, spiking the crux
The bottomline wants to know why the Dream has been shorted
Ideals aborted and thrown under the bus
Seeing the freakyfest as a possible mid-term plus
Dumbing down,
tarting up, that’s the stuff
Just greenlight another post-consumer grubby gimmick
Just mimic substance with happytalk galore
Just don’t let them strip away the tinsel
to reveal the real cardboard

Master of Your Fate

If you quit, they will take your investments?
they think you’re past your prime?
They’re ruthless?  Let’s do a reassessment.
Once upon a time…
Used to be, you would wake up full of pep
You’d race up the stairs and not miss a step.

Now your boss is obstinate, demanding?
Buddy, this is NOW!
Let’s see how he processes grandstanding.
Stage a cat’s meow.
Exaggerate, dress like an old grandpa;
Attract attention with a big hoopla.

Make this grand announcement: “Retirement’s
written on the wall,
due to unreasonable requirements.
How I hate shortfalls.
But could departure be an advantage?
Let’s talk about my severance package.”

~~~            ~~~            ~~~          ~~~
Daydreaming?  You are running late again.
Master of your fate, get to work, my friend.
Fall of Natural Beauty
Women’s wombs, I guess
have run short of materials
beautiful babies are not born
paintings, fittings are after birth
Inventors paint and finish
things pregnant mothers miss
beauty made by machines
and bought in supermarkets
repair shortfalls and damages
to create beautiful adult babies
so artificial and ordinary
You Are My King
You always catch me when I seem to fall
When my world turns dark and gray
I just say the Lords prayer
To get me back on my way
When I am lost in disarray
I find the answers when I pray
That you provide along my spiritual way
Puts me back on track
So I can deal with Satan flack
You gave us Jesus
Through him, we are free of sin
Through you, all mankind is a big win
Only then can we begin
To understand this life without sin
I seek the truth in your ways
May I walk with you all of my days
As I praise all of your loving ways
I am never met with defiance
Always reliance
In my alliance with you when I pray
I feel your presence in all of what you say
I will find the answers as I walk in your ways
I have learned not to blame you for my shortfalls
For you always light the flame
That tames my life every step of the way
Whether I'm at work or play
I know I can always bow my head
To hear you say
You are my king
Who makes all things possible
That truly makes my heart sing
