The Abc's of Joy

The ABC’s of Joy
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Approve blissfully. Caress.
Devotedly excite. Faith.
Give harmony. Incite Joyfulness.
Keep laughter’s merriment.
Never overlook paradise’s qualifications.
Remember. Smile! Thrive unendingly.
Vanquish worldliness.
Xoxoxox!!! Youthful zeal.

Not Forsaken

.

in this din of urban indifference
let me hear again the throbbing
        of a heart generous.

in the caves of calloused hearts
let me feel the slightest touch
          of a hand caring.

in the self- deifying worldliness
let me rest in a faith forgotten
         but never forsaken.

Apocalypse Arrived

Insidious, insipid, id-inebriated imbeciles
wage a wanton war of words without wit, wisdom or worldliness.
Regrettable, repugnant reprobates ravage refined realms as
pirouetting pariahic pyres patently a pyrrhic prize.

Morning Wind

Morning wind tickled with whisper
Willows thin limbs and ancient brow.
Many days winds' chill was crisper,
Forgetful of when; can't think now

Life at times was richer, draw blank
Of those events right at this time.
Richness seems to come with each rank
Of age increase, now don't need mime

Mime one who has more worldliness.
No! Let my mime be Jesus Christ.
Let me become like him actless
Let the Spirit draw me entice

Victors For the Lord

Champions in fighting selfishness thru God's grace Conquerors against worldliness, waving heaven's banner Cleaving to the Saviour Who indeed assured "I will never leave thee"* Claimers of the King's eternal prize, reaching life's race finish line Contenders for holiness-bouts, humbly yielded to the Master... Cared for, we are His children, obedient to Him!
*Hebrews 13:5 "...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." February 19, 2019

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein
Born - March 14,1879
Died - April 17,1955

Einstein died of an aortic aneurism at the age of 76 and the pathologist removed his brain to study it and find out what made him so intelligent.
His peers said he was a man of child like quality that made him totally unsophisticated and without worldliness.

Albert Einstein
His teachers thought his abilities limited,
But his genius went down in history,
And his brain, after death was exhibited.
