Apocalypse Arrived

Insidious, insipid, id-inebriated imbeciles
wage a wanton war of words without wit, wisdom or worldliness.
Regrettable, repugnant reprobates ravage refined realms as
pirouetting pariahic pyres patently a pyrrhic prize.

VERY cool, John. Thanks for letting me know about this one. Next time I will see the romantic one! (it's funny, I glanced down and saw connie calling you Barry and I was thinking for a second: What???)

Thanks for the great comments, Connie (erm, but it's "John" not "Barry"). Regards, John!

Astute alliteration John. Again, another reason to use the word 'astute' when commenting on your poetry today :) A powerful and beautifully poetic discourse of current world affairs. Shining poetry my friend. Warmest wishes always..

You have done well with this alliteration challenge, John. I know it's not easy, cos I'm still struggling with mine! By the time I finish it the apocalypse would have arrived:) Regards // paul

Heh!! Thanks, Paul. This is actually a cut-down / mashed together version of one of my longer poems - "Apocalypse Almost Arrived". Good luck with your entry! Regards, John.
