A Commoner and not a lord,
He spent his life,
And round his bedside,
Stood only his children, and his wife.

His stroke was fatal,
At 8 am on the 24th day
Of January in the year 1965,
God paved his way.

A genius, an orator,
A husband loving and so mild,
A man who swayed the masses,
In fact “History’s Child”....
