Lost in paradise,
not always the clearest path;
Home lies with the wind
discovering who you are
as wild as a wildflower.
As quickly as possible
the
mango yellow hummingbird
swallow nectar from the Gods
from
every wildflower
in
the field of gold
wildflower
wet wildflower wagging with woeful wild winds warms my wretched heart.

she’s a wildflower
that makes the honey bee buzz
they become as one
when penetration so deep
threshing machine approaches.

winsome woman weaving whimsy everywhere she wanders - wildflower
I married a woman named Speck
Who’s as pretty as one would expect
She's as sweet as wildflower honey
And as lively as a bunny
She's the woman I highly respect
whimsically woven ~ wind stitched wonderland

oak buds stimulate
the crevices of the mind —
hopped-up flowerage
adventurous vine —
the tongue-twisting succulent
of wildflower verse

suddenly a rich embroidery
with sunlight pouring
and a hundred chirping birds winging
oh, here comes a parade of butterflies fluttering
to kiss each swaying delightful wildflower
I saw a lone flower,
very delicate and pretty,
in a soft shade,
on a day windy,
it danced and swayed;
unaware . . . its friends had decayed.
I stopped my car and pulled some flowers up.
I circled the parking lot they grew around three times
to find the courage to gather them.
When did it get so hard to love beauty
dainty powdery blue butterfly
makes most petite yellow wildflower
look giant-like
are you a memory
are you a glimpse
are you a faerie
she is gone
before replying
but I remember
flavor of springtime
minty as June's wildflower
love's petal dispersed---
alone in the city park
I long for your smooth caress

Growing along the fence in the dunes.
Tall sea grass, a sandy color.
Vines climb high onto the trees.
Wild, dense, and overgrown.
Proudly standing there.
A wildflower.
Purple bloom.
Thriving.
Strong.
meadow of the noon
wildflowers of all colors
raptly I stand still
flinging both arms wide
underneath the citron sun
I whirl and I dance
the hour of languor
has no way impacted me
I twirl in fragrance
symbolizing love
hopefulness and devotion
it is a spring bloom
wildflower rapture
in the deep blue of the skies
born of springtime dreams
bluebirds gossiping
in the orange gold of sun
the middle of day
Virginal
by Michael R. Burch
For an hour
every wildflower
beseeches her,
"To thy breast,
Elizabeth!"
But she is mine;
her lips divine
and her breasts and hair
are mine alone.
Let the wildflowers moan.

whispers waltz where willow weaves; wildflower’s wonder, weaving wistful warmth.

in wonderment she waltzed to womanhood -
wildflower whirlwind
met world
in the adventure known as life
some live through the stories
they read in an old armchair
while others live their life
to give the people in that seat
an adventure to live through
so make sure that story is about you
Lord,
You ignited
This spark in my soul, and
You lift me up to your throne
Everything, I have, I shall give, and not hold
I am a wildflower in this field of sweet gold
Lord, I’m ready for the healing and there is no more pain
