A beautiful image, Dane Ann! I remember you had a sinkhole on your property a while back. I'm guessing this monuku means all is well? Lovely monuku...best wishes if for the contest. Hugs, Rhonda

Yes, we still have a very large and growing sinkhole. We also have started a couple of bee hives. I threw some wild flower seeds into the sink hole last fall and a few crotalaria, which bees love this time of year, I had also dropped some dead fern frons and speared down a large rosebush clipping with root tone on it. Will do the same this fall...hoping to have the bees busily buzzing .

very clever -- where the bees are buzzing there is life!

Thank you. I was so happy to place 3rd along with the other winners. It wasn't easy to keep the meter right. Now if I could only improve the humor. I have only written one funny limerick...ever! LOL
