Notes About The Poem

Wildflower Whimsy

meadow of the noon
wildflowers of all colors
raptly I stand still

flinging both arms wide
underneath the citron sun
I whirl and I dance

the hour of languor
has no way impacted me
I twirl in fragrance

Hi Evelyn, What a lovely string of haikus. You painted such a beautiful scene with words. I enjoyed the view. PS, I see that you like instrumentals. A good version of Purple Rain on the violin. Have a nice day:-)Alexis

Hi Alexis, Thank you for your wonderful words of appreciation. I am happy that you enjoyed my wildflower meadow. I do love instrumentals-poetry can be read so nicely to them. I'm glad you liked this selection. You have a wonderful day as well. :=) Evelyn
