meet in the ocean
live - tumbling bumbling bubbling
sharing each one's woes

from east west north south
what cultural communion
all in the same boat

they never grumble
knowing eternal shore sure
each moment a bliss

Away, Back and Froward
AWAY, BACK AND FROWARD.
THE DIRECTION POINTS TO YOU.
NORTH, EAST, WEST, AND SOUTH.
POSITIVELY, COMPASS SHOWN.

AWAY, BACK AND FROWARD.
SOON TO BE SEEN.
UP, DOWN, AND AROUND.
SHOWN, IN A SIMPLE WAY.

Compass
First and Foremost
Set your bearing's right
If you choose to navigate at night
And awake to the light
North , West , East , South
They multiply to Four
It is Nature's unwritten Law
Like the motion of a door
Opening forth our Future
While slamming Closed its Door
Upon that which came Before...

Was Then, Now and Always
so rigid at times,
makes me empty at times
all I say why not then
but she cuts west and south
I attention her daily
mighty is her flaming warmth
sweet in its hotness
a red lettered season!
that rewinds her smooth tunes
In my palace she dwells
even when am lost in paradise...
she calls me son still!...

Travelled from mouth to mouth
North,west,east & south
Far feom the censor's pen-
In memory now,long gone
This poetry of anon

Tribute to the many anon poets who use this form(often with song) 'merely written for the
people' becoming worksongs/chanties etc outrunning the state censor & fanning freedom's
flame in al men's hearts....

Dharga Nagar Our Born Village
Dharga Nagar is our born village,
Bounding with a river coverage,

Bentota river's beatiful footage,
People of the World get in engage

In book of history a golden page,
Keeping in an old human heritage,

Two regions Bentota river arrange
West and South regions in merge,

Being at a picturesque footage,
Dharga Nagar,a beautiful village!...

Hopeful
Happy hopeful new year
A baby in cradle has started
Pace with you pace with me
Pacifically paddle into the fresh new river
Yore has gone, it is a memory, past
Nattily, naturally row and see
East and north
West and south
Yet, look up
Easily drive the dandy,
And do not forget your innermost
Rub the right way to be satisfied, with best wishes...

Premium Member Bushy Tail
That bushy tail of yours, Mr. Squirrel
it's kind of cute, the way it curls
High on a wire, it swings back and forth
either east and west, or south and north

On a tall tree's nut-hunting route
you use it like a parachute
And I've seen your tail shake and shiver
when you spot a 'babe' who makes you quiver

I'm not quite sure what all this means
but it serves you well in woods and ravines...

Still Some Cowboy
There’s still some cowboy in America,
That just won’t go away—
You’ll find it East and West and South and North—
Lingering to this day.

It’s just something that you can’t quite define—
The right way to do a thing—
A walk, some straight talk, an honest handshake—
It makes our hearts still sing.

There’s still some cowboy in America—
Let’s pray it is not killed—
America won’t be America,
If dreams go unfulfilled....

It's Life
it was us wearing joy and everything
Partying from day to dawn of the midnight
Making memories like rome knights
With no idea of what was right
That was us in jolly time

Look at us now
With bags full of regrets and doubts
Pointing north in the points of cardinal
Some west to south crusing with cadiliacs
It is yet another journey
Some hearts wants to stay
Some bleeds when they astray
But life is that way...

Clannish Hyperbole
Hand-me-down myths,
  like ancient monoliths,
    clan's fondest memories
      by nostalgia embellished;

larger-than-life sagas,
  truer-than-truth legends,
    hyperbolic narrations
      of happy exaggerations;

that's ancestral history,
  coloring one's genealogy,
    seeping, coursing down
      bloodlines, tribal milestones,

its gravitational whirl stirs
  generations' imagination,
      east, west, north, south
         through word of mouth!...

Hidden Treasure
My mind is like a map and my body is like a maze, the directions are not given but the path has many ways, swim in my intellectual oceans and lakes before you explore my inner streams and rivers, you must climb my emotional mountains and embark on untouched land before you can grasp my sensual fantasies and enter unknown territories, master north west east south of my thoughts and only then can you break down the forbidden walls and emerge into complete physical and emotional bliss!...
