Feathers
Unbelievably weirdly
Challenging throwing catching
The feathers changing direction
Funninsh, foolish, failish
Falling feathers
air
In businessy emails I rhyme,
A large percentage of the time.
My weirdly waxing poetic,
Thought by bureaucrats pathetic,
When all is said, still be no crime.
winter is on hold
October feels like summer
Kansas looks like the Ozarks
hills and trees, trees and hills
ninety-two degree day in late October
weirdly no longer abnormal in Kansas
Brains Weirdly Bunched
Angel touched and said I was touched;
When he and I had together lunched;
Naughty neurosis;
Plentiful psychosis,
And my brains were weirdly bunched.

Winter break
What to do first?
I could stay up all night
Weirdly enough,
It does not have the appeal it used to
Winter break
I have eaten a box of chocolates
Tiny box, no more than ten pieces
Now what?
Was Sam a charlatan
or was he inexplicably overly-honest?
Weirdly half felt he was a charlatan
A third felt he was inexplicably too honest
The rest did not think of him at all
Choosing to live their own lives
Autumn sun was annoyed with the sunflowers today
She pretended she liked them, which was weirdly okay.
The gourds knew better, they could read the sun’s mind.
But the sun kept her opinions secret, being ever so kind.
Her Christmas Eve blind date would not give an inch
That they argued about everything was quickly a cinch
She would not ever date him again; not even in a pinch
Weirdly enough, he also looked exactly like Dr Seuss’s Grinch.
When I write I write in tens
Ten poems per session
Some are insanely silly
Weirdly enough, understood by many
Sometimes commenters write me ten sentences
With suggestions
When I have only written a two-line missive
UNORDINARY
bizarre
you live
so far
away…
ajar
strange
this page
so pale
out of
range
odd
this poem
weirdly
rough
shod
unexpected
astonishingly
unordinary
remarkable

I stare at the cloudless ocean sky,
feeling like it's weirdly way down there,
and I'm stuck, stranded, strangely up here
in my boat, I'm afloat in my sigh !
Please be gentle with them! Mary Lou’s mother had said.
Mary Lou took them out most carefully and patted their head.
They flipped and flopped weirdly for her mother’s favorite daughter.
Unfortunately no one told her goldfish need to stay in the water.
Drowning in oxygen,
Freezing burns,
Tight space,
Why is this all weirdly normal?
Everyone is clearly confused
Because suffering silently,
Obsessive love,
Slowing plummeting
Isn’t to you acting normal?
I’m rejecting humanities contradictions
We become oxymorons
Bess’s expressions were grotesque
Most usually weirdly cheerless
She is under unusual duress
Her family is an utter mess
Bess is playing poker more or less
Her deadpan expression not needless
A stickler for rules more or less
My watercress-loving friend named Bess
She wronged me
It was okay, a little accident.
I did not mind.
The second time it happened I was stunned.
Wondering how it could have happened twice.
But of course I forgave her.
We have been friends for a long time.
Betrayed a third time?
Weirdly, this stunned me…..
Wacky Willie whittled while whistling weirdly
Widow Winnie winced at Willie's wacky whistling-
And wrecked Willie's weird wooden whittled whistle.......
Woefull winded grandchildren whooped with delight...
If you havent guessed..lol ...for the Tongue Twister contest...
Easy breezy mystery
Freely fancy harmony
Crazy buzzy factory
Timely spicy ecstasy
Weirdly wisely comedy
Truly creepy tragedy
Simply sadly melody
Richly wrongly fantasy
Meekly mildly mindfully
Easy breezy mentally

I pods
I phones
I pads
Eye like them all
Weirdly enough they all contribute to more
Me time
I time
Me and I
I and me
Enjoying myself greatly
Doing what I want to do
Compromising with no one
Word games
U-tube
My own song list
I pods
I phones
I pads
Eye like them all
The room glanced around me unknowingly,
a gilded fingertip held to lips,
A finished thought unshared
In the whisperness i see your dark
A simpered yes has no flaws
A life lived in the storms port
Beating the skin above the shared heart,
All my sighs are welcomed,
Faith in time i ate
like moths feeding on something lacy
He is...
She is....
I am....
We are....
News travels fast.
Especialy when it is self-revealing or telling
More especially if it is juicy or gloomy
He is a tightwad.
She is having an affair.
I am telling you in confidence.
Confidences travel faster than the IS.
Faster than the THEY.
Faster than the WE.
Weirdly enough.
Tiktok fun and cool
weirdly relatable
Like a person who knows you
Entertaining when your bored
Educational when you lack sense
Time flies by fast
Like it's been frozen still
Eye bags under my eyes to account for the lost time
Convincing myself that I
Won't do it but still doing it
A habit I can't seem
to break
again it starts
It is dark
The wind makes an eerie sound
I feel threatened
for no reason
I listen but there is only silence.
It is a terrific night for a murder
I look inside my heart
Where did that come from?
I look around quickly
Wondering if the trees know
Did anyone hear this weirdly unnatural thought?
Sure would be, the oak said in telepathy.
Here comes the uppity bejeweled crow
Carrying her loud beak just so and so
She is wearing a cape as white as snow
Her beady eyes turn on me; they have a glow
Flashing gemstone rings are on her feathers today
She preens and twists, weirdly turning away
Around her neck there is a diamond choker
I heard she won this playing cardinal poker
Her mouth always tells the story said Glory
Glory was her dog, who replaced dead Tori.
They looked like twins, weirdly enough.
But Glory knew his owner, he knew his stuff.
If her mouth is prissy and tight, you best run.
She’s in a foul mood, she will be no fun.
If she has a fake smile, that is even worse.
Take your cell phone and your purse.
Looking out of the window,
Staring into droplets of rain
Drawing patterns of emptiness
on my window panes…
I try to comprehend,
The very meaning of life
When all I could think of is
‘Sans,’ ‘sans,’ and ‘sans.”
Weirdly enough,
To my own dismay,
I am content by the very non-existence
of any meaning to life.
The void makes me delighted.
