I am night and longing
an apparition, visualization
floating through your dreams
touching on your senses
all of them
leaving a taste
of all that was
of all that can be
I never used to put much stock in
Always;
it seemed to me merely a word,
a visualization of an unfathomable concept.
Always -
such a long time to imagine.
But now, I see that it has real substance,
a meaning beyond my dreams;
it's the exact amount of time I'll love you,
no shorter will suffice.
Long after time loses all meaning,
I swear I'll be there for you;
Always.
I paint a whimsy in my mind,
A quiet place and pretty,
Where I can simply dream
Child-like without the nitty-gritty
Of the city's less then kind imagination.
In reverie, the gurus say, the mind
Will try visualization, the machinations
Of the Universe, or so it may seem,
But in truth it's just an aberration
Of Reality's unending hallucination!
simply awake
No music lulls
No quiet snoozes
No counting naps
No stretching tires
My clock taunts me
No comfort lullabies
No breathing relaxes
Pajamas strangle me
No coolness soothes
No meditation stupors
No visualization sleeps
No position tranquilizes
No supplements sedate
No aromatherapy calms
or finger painting slumbers
I am insomnia’s vigilant sentry.
Where, oh where's the sandman?
Her work colleagues turned into cats immediately
The second she began her speech at five until three
The rest of us had no idea, for we could not see
What she had to do to public speak confidently
She was smiling brightly as she gave her speech
Looking perky and joyful like a fresh coral peach
Colleagues said she is inspired, her speech is alive!
The visualization she had to do helped her survive

What were they thinking?
Why?
How accurate were they?
The cat purred, spurring her on.
She had always been empathetic.
This visualization took her to a whole new dimension.
The cat fell asleep, for they were both so relaxed.
All of the answers came easily after this.
I love the strange world of fantasy
where IMAGINATION is the star
and WHIMSY provides a canopy
as weird creatures fly in from afar
Dungeons, dragons, a Lady, a Lord
and sybils who DREAM all but tell less
VISUALIZATION colors words
purple, red, gold, darkness is the dress
Please don't say it's HALLUCINATION
MY REVERIE is true as the moon
I have known a few purple dragons
and I'm having lunch with two at noon
With imagination
And some visualization
I was able to change my situation
No need for congratulation

With all levels of levitation
