Virgin Mary
I am not
Running wild
Generating chaos.
Organised chaos, mind

Viable and capable they may be
Intelligent many as we see
Reliable and rational they do stay
Growing intellect everyday
Only this sign is such a way
My Moon is in Taurus, so though
I’m Virgo Sun, you ought to know. . .
There’s a whole lot of soul
In a hot virgin bull;
It’s a combo magnifico!
For P.D.'s "Zodiac Race"
I am a Virgo, on cusp of Libra.
My heart and mind stays in a penumbra.
My first words were these, so told.
“Me do it me self”, so bold.
I was strange in school, I loved algebra

In the midst of Fall,
Harbinger of snow,
Rising above all:
Intention to bestow
Illuminating grace,
Intimations of,
In that precious face,
Universal love.

Virginal composure sits judgment on life
Introspective awareness dispenses advice
Righteous and lawful, all wording concise
Grounded and centred declining all vice
Objective perspective but still very nice.

Optimistic [hopeful]
I wrote one for each sign back in January of 2003
Vanity and pride are my prison
Inhibitions bind and trap my desires
Relentlessly striving for perfection
Greatness eludes my every move
Outwardly concealing my inner turmoil

Nonwhite
vestiges
of heaven's fine brew
fate are magical items
that grow like flowers over tiny
ayes in painting spells that happen
repeatedly or that
include
a sudden on-
set of
yearly belov-
ed small
snippethood.
September glistens like her Harvest Moon
Draped in lush sapphire gown, she reaps
Bounty's finery, corn and foliage abloom--
And prancing to welcome autumnal grace
This Lady Virgo bestows wind its crisp air,
Then drifts off, leaving a kiss of soft farewell !
Vibrant in life
Intelligent to boot
Rigid and lonely
Graceful but rude
Objective on occasion
Loving and true
Intriguing and mysterious
Balancing too
Romantic and charming
Argumentative and blue

Virgo is my sign with which I deeply align
I thrive as I help and serve, driven by passion and verve
Religious in heart mystic in mind, a soul wholly unconfined
Gifted by the healing power of Love and the sensibility of dove
Of a sense of worth, an affinity with mother earth, that’s my sign birth.

There once was an old lady from Maine.
Born in Virgo, a critic, quite plain,
her zest for punctuation
caused poetic frustration,
but they cared for her all of the same.
While writing one day this fine teacher
met her match a right handsome preacher
he dissected her acts
found her lacking in tact
and schooled her behind the wood bleacher!
Grace under pressure
Unflappable class
Overtones of elegance
Strength of brass.
Tending splendid gardens
Where laughter and fun
Sprout as if native
In the warmth of her sun.
Incensed by thoughtless actions
Yet steady in her mood
Mixing sweet persuasion
With wisdom for food.
A Virgo mom’s a blessing
For one raised in her nest
So just today this Taurus says
That Virgo is the best!
Curious is my mind, So I seek
Mouth I can't keep shut, so I speak
Heart is unwell, I meet God and I pray
It now stopped looking for things
and
When my eyes touched their sides
I found calm
And you appeared in my dreams
or so I thought
I tried to wake, but I was not asleep
I thought I was in a dream
For things I prayed for
each,
each of them i can count
no one-side or twos
is right in front of mine
as I wake
