C'Est La Vie

The greatest story ever told
Begins with men daring and bold
Put to the test
They tried their best
But all that glitters is not gold

C'Est La Vie

"Ashes to ashes; dust to dust"?
It seems our lives our filled with lust
When facing the sod
Who cares about God?
Give us a girl with a big bust!

C'Est La Vie

My doctor’s warning is dour I say,
soon I could be lowered in clay,
so fat, sugar and salt,
hard liquor must halt -
I went to his funeral today.

C'Est La Vie

What can I say?
I've been here before
You're not the first one to make my heart a little sore
I'm sure they'll be but plenty more
When one leaves another comes knocking at the door

Is being with you atop a foggy, starry hill, my one and only!

Comprehending that you are that soft light in my life, undeniably
and so wonderfully holy.

Love,

C'Est La Vie of Love

In the beginning
There was only us
No neutral force tempting us to lay in bed
Together
We don't though
And that upsets Hades the most-
Loving
Without
Love
Always being
One-sided
Hurts more than you think

Quand Nous Voyons La Vie Reelle

Elle est belle
Une relation bien établie
Jesus-Christ notre appui
Toujours là
Il guide nos pas
Rempli de son amour
Livré chaque jour
Voilà son amitié
Toujours prêt à partager
Lesson du coeur
Où le bon Dieu demeure

Vie De Misere Terminer

Dieux reprend premier
Votre sourire
Est fait pour rire
Votre amusement
Sera mon vent
Qui nous apportes
Loins de nos portes
Chanson en tête
Merci ont fêtes
La vie de guérir
Des beaux avenirs
Vous le sachiez
Nous sommes pied à pied
Vous le voyez
Vous le croyez

C'Est La Vie

Something sad came over me the other day
You know that feeling, like you should be out there,
out there being somebody,
out there living.

Thing is, it passed and, when I felt right again
I realized, I realized I already was.
Just from someone else's perspective.

Late 80s, Quebec, Ville de Lasalle, A piece of my life, a piece of me, I left behind; Fait accompli. What I miss most? Je ne sais quoi! Cartoons! Lagaffe, Robin Dubois! Bicycle rides with my good friends, Next to the river, along the bends. I left behind a piece of my life…

Ma Vie De Ma Jeunesse

D'une immense tendresse
Toujours près à partager avec les autres
Offrir à aider sens faute
Une pensée unique et serviable
Me dit que je suis capable
Encourager
J'ai bien semé
J'ai bien grandi
Avec Ombe unis
Seigneur
Qui me tenait toujours à coeur
Fonce, va-y
Chante-nous ton coeur de poésie

C'Est La Vie

I made a faux pas – c’est la vie!
And asked for butter on my bread,
The other diners stared at me.
I made a faux pas – c’est la vie!
And then I wanted Earl Grey tea…
‘Il est Anglais,’ the waiter said.
I made a faux pas – c’est la vie!
And asked for butter on my bread.

Left Monterey on Saturday.
Arrived in Paris early Sunday.
Driven to the Somme Cemetery Monday.
Job-interviewed and lunched on Tuesday.
Flew back home via L.A. Wednesday.
Recovered on Thursday.
Back to work on Friday.
Disappointed on Saturday.
Didn't get the job, but spent three nights in Paris at government expense.
C'est la vie.

C'Est La Vie

Old dead dog lies in the street.

Why? What has killed her?

Famine, cold or cruelty?

She wants nothing now,

She does not dream about anything.

How much she had of grief and sorrow.

But how much she gave to her owner

of love and help!

Now the old dead dog lies in the street.

But why don’t people take off their hats?

Cest La Vie

take a look at this world
hunger, crime, and deceit.
try to change it for the better
but that gets thrown to the back seat.

sad time we live in
...but why despair.
i know that's kinda harsh
but all we can do is just breath the air.

life is worth living
if you see it through eyes like mine.
despite what bad there is
do what you want because all you got is time.
