I love watching the snow fall, 
very softly and gently to the ground.
The blanket turns from summer green,
to a blanket of ivory flakes.
Once whiter than white,
now ivory from the soot in the air.
What part do we play,
in this changing world we live in.
For better or for worse,
we all live here together.

will return to the white snow....

the essence.
On the way out I looked
	for a door,
found silk,
a cocoon.

Then I heard a key
	turning in a lock
and looked.
There beneath a fire breath
an alarm was screaming.
Demons were pleading,
Let me out!

and angels reposed

The lyrics, the words
	were kind,
and the instruments

as she sleeps peacefully next to me

One tiny crystal drop of dew
     from nowhere with a gleam

Very softly fell upon my pillow,
     turning it to bright yellow

Erasing the darkness, painting
     the night with heavenly light

Leaving me stunned, wondering
     where it came from, where it went
