Beautiful flowers
in a vase, reflecting love,
light up life with joy:-
Nature, giving life to life,
messaging human nature:-
in the crystal vase
filled to full with redden rose
arranged loving you:
no more room in me so full,
so filled is my heart with you
the room is all aglow
feel the warmth from the fireplace
sitting upon the mantle
a vase, Cornwall blue in color
within it, seemingly translucent
a bouquet of neon daisies
It's sad to see my flowers die
that once gave beauty to the eye.
Oh, Look! See their lavender leaves stretching out
like arms opening wide for a good-bye hug!
.
A world in a race of fast pace,
Busy achieving a face,
Chasing hard but unaware of the end's trace,
Death inevitable, life—an empty vase,
Maybe life was meant to live, not to waste.
Shattered glass
Like my life, in pieces
Glittering fragments
Waiting to be swept away
As raindrops, build
Into torrential rains
So now I may drown
In the flood of life
The river flows
Towards death
artsy
yet subtle
not asking for credit
the backup
timid
the sidekick
content as backdrop
in support
quiet
wanton blooms
receiving the attention
and applause

I always wanted my auntie’s giraffe vase that held flowers.
It was given to me on a day where the sky filled with showers.
I brought him home and filled him up with posies fine.
Thrilled in every direction that he was finally and truly mine!
Roses in a vase
You have given me
Have now changed colors
From the bright redness
In a dullest red
Is a memory now
Faded roses gone
The vase is empty
No longer empty
The vase will be filled
My love brought roses
To brighten my day
A vase brims with red and peach blooms
their colors bleed into the morning light
brushstrokes whisper stories of soft touch
shadows dance across the glass table
outside the window, sunshine is beautiful
inside, life unfolds in strokes of brilliance
She’s an a elder and a widow
She’s all alone in her old house
Her kids have moved out long ago
She stares at an old vase
With stale water
And a unique rose
With withered petals
But to her it's still the most beautiful sight

A broken heart
Is like a cracked vase
Affection can't stay
Love left without a trace
Hurt runs deep
It needs healing & space
But true love prevails!
So powerful, you embrace

Brass flower vase
Auctioned by millions
Stood in a nightstand
Rust lines on bottom
Reflect the memories
Encapsulated by time
Gold engraved initials
Symbol of blessed times
Dimmed by regrets
Polished with dedication
Brought back lost shine
Dulled by indifference
Four pieces
Three shards fit together, the other
Gone
Useless urn
Helpless as tears
Drain through, blood
Flows out
Without
Stop
But then
Blood clots
Miracle!
Torrent to river to trickle until
The hole holds
Souls full, but
The vase remains
Forever broken
Never whole
Or full
again
Beauty is nicely painted on your face
like a rose, neatly plucked from a garden
and carefully placed in a flower vase,
to spread its sweet fragrance with full pardon.

Firm,
Green vase,
With the curves,
Of a lovely woman,
Within,
You caress,
Tender,
Sweet,
Vibrancies,
Of,
Flowers,
That gaze,
Like dream,
Upon,
The mediterranean,
Shore,
Like an exotic woman,
Embraces,
Her love,
Her tears and laughter,
With bright lemons,
By her hem

Some flowers are standing
In a beautiful vase.
They're looking at me
With such tenderness, grace.
These flowers are holding
Bit smiles in the leaves
They're smiling to me
Like a baby, that lives
In a new sadless, worryless
Sunny big world,
That brings light, love, care
To every who wants!!!
Just now the sky put
A bouquet of crimson clouds
In your flower vase
And lo how the vase
Explodes in some millions of
Purple molecules
In the swimming pool
Children splashing wild water
Your vase in laughter
You and I pass on
But the bouquet in the vase
Is ever crimson

spring
my vase is ready
on the broad window sill~
spring rains bring beauties
summer
my vase overflows
on the broad window sill~
sunlight warms petals
autumn
my vase stands silent
on the broad window sill~
leaves drift down like thoughts
winter
my vase gathers dust
on the broad window sill~
snowlight fills the room
the girl didn't want to talk about time travel
and said goodbye to me soon and then left
and I stood still, thinking about
the space continuum that repeats through history
it's one big conspiracy of vase race theory
really unreal, truly non-existent
explaining nothing at all and more
despite oblivion
it's funny how we always try
A vase of purple tulips
Gives your outlook quite a boost.
It chases off the gloomy thoughts
That seek a place to roost.
You needn’t pay an arm or leg
To purchase such a bunch;
But purple is the way to go –
It packs a potent punch.
I’m feeling kind of off this week
And sick is not my style;
But looking at those purple tulips
Causes me to smile.
A vase of purple flowers
Makes a table, drab and plain,
Into something much more festive,
Like a place to entertain.
Though no visitors are needed,
For each lovely vibrant bloom
Brings a warm and cozy feeling
When I walk into the room.
It amazes me how something
Like a corner-store bouquet
Can add such a dose of sweetness
To an ordinary day.
A Rose belongs not in vase,
But on a thorny vine--
In shades of white, or yellow,
Or hues like scarlet wine.
And God forbid a dozen
Be held hostage in some room--
Slowly dying day by day
In the Housewife's comely tomb.
But spring will resurrect them
In their shades of red, and white--
As the honeybees each celebrate,
And the butterflies delight!
Bottle a vase Full of Flowers Picked from the Hillside - A Haiku
hillside steep flowers
green bottle stands placed in vase
flowers picked placed
all arrangements in
inside of a bottle green
swimming in water
while outside all’s wild
betrayed by birds steep flowers
they pick, pollinate

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr.©2019
I am like an old vase,
that the bottom is split
Glued neatly and placed at shelf,
As your house decor
you don’t fill me with the wine,
which turned me into the fragments.
Not a praise from your guests -
Our guests are quite rare –
Makes your master’s soul warming itself:
you’re so kind, so protective! -
no need in a wine….
… But...so sad to be empty...
And so boring.
