Premium Member Woe of the Water Heater
In life you learn the true valuables,
Hot water is gold when the heater goes,
All my cash I'd give out
To have steam from the spout
Taking a literal cold shower blows!

We Forget To Collect Life
the eternal board is flashing
white letters on dark screen
destinations departures arrivals
scheduled greens
expected reds
delayed blues
frisking ffor the security of the
masses
collect your valuables he said
we forget though
life is the most valuable
we forget to collect...

The Bright-Eyed Thief
Diamond-bright-eyes,
Like king Solomon wise,
But like those of a rogue,
Lusting for valuables in vogue;
From parcel shifting to parcel,
The unlikeliest to indulge any counsel,
Of money, commanded ears listen to its rustle,
Not to its owners hustle and bustle,
Nor to his heaves of his muscle...

These are not what Christ wants,
Nor the baptisms in his fonts....

Valuables
Working in jobs we loath,
buying valuables we do not need.
We have no substance to survive on this,
our souls we can not feed.

A million miles away,
across oceans and cracks.
Exist people that own everything,
everything we lack.

The Mark of Cain,
we have burnt upon ourselves.
Ever plummeting southwards,
our conscious delves.

He collects them in bottles,
our evil ways.
Waiting to release them,
at the end of days....

Giving All
I would give it all away
the collector's display of valuables untouched
if only you would stay.

The shadows take hold
  and as your eyes close
I know you have to go.

If I prayed and pleaded
 would God change his mind
leaving you just as I want and needed.

Life is such an unknown struggle
where we tread in wonder and caution
to let love come and go untroubled.

I would give it all away
 don't say goodbye,
just one more day, stay....

I Have a Date- Ian Munywe
I HAVE A DATE
I have a date,
with the Shylock.
I am raring to trade,
all my valuables.
That cost me,
an arm and a leg.
For peanuts,
with which to bribe.
The landlord,
not to vacate me.
From his minuscule,
colossal castle.
A cloth in one hand,
and soap water in the other.
These gems of mine,
have got to shine.
For Shylock is,
too particular.
Even,
rather peculiar.
All has to be right,
lest in the cold I sleep tonight!

Remarks That Blows Invite
That was A Nasty from you,
The Coarsest from a shrew;
Men who’d ignore it few
To over it lengthily chew …

Your Upper Lip I might’ve attacked
And The Lower just swollen,
As through you’d my pockets ransacked
And my valuables stolen ...

Your utterances you’d made
To, perhaps, lower my grade
Their message, that of The Afraid
That my fame will never fade:
Gibbers which Fury frees
And would a victim freeze,
Their source foolishly excite,
Because vengeful blows invite....

Self Made Strife
Gold,money job,land,home,valuables,security and love
all desired but here none or little or inadequate
mostly inadequate with avarice
and comparably
you work them out
in silence and hoarse shouts
play games and maim people
they try the same on you
in their pursuit
24/7 and 365
sinning and sinning
may be winning and winning
or loosing and loosing
in depression and blue
rat race goes on
without a stop
you call this life
this is self made strife.

Come clear and embrace me!...
