Sunbeam sneaking
through the widdow-pane,
touching me so gently,
on my cheek as
I lie here fast asleep.
So many years ago,
a memory such as this,
came to me so tenderly.
I awake so slowly,
to enjoy the warmth
this sunbeam brings me.

enjoy another

All clean and shiny is my teak
When they step on my
Glossy black my heart leaps
Joyous smiles deep down my timbers leak
You can see your face and physique
When you look at me
Don’t walk on me with your dirty feet
Shhh….. Whisper when you speak
If you’re real quiet you’ll hear me squeak.
The Holy Spirit is my friend
He is with me every day
He's come to live inside my heart
And in my heart to stay.
He's with me in the valley
And on the mountain top
His Spirit just keeps on flowing
It wasn't meant to stop.
The Holy Spirit has many gifts
They all come from above
But the greatest gift of them all
Is the gift of love.
They said darkness before dawn and pain before pleasure .
I played in the rain and prayed till my hands hurt.
Cried till my eyes swelled up.
But God promised me he wouldn't put on me more than i could bear and all that I
have endured was for my good but for his glory.
He gives out his blessings in due season and this is my season and this is just the
beginning.
Awaken by the birds
the sounds of the day about to begin
lying in bed with your arms around
as if you are shielding me from the world
trying to protect me
from past hurts and disappointments
I am ready to face the world
your love gave me the wings
the emotional strength to face my demons
and the peace to know that if I falter

You made me smile when i was down.

i'm glad i found someone like you
that makes me feel better the way you do

That cloud was a demon

for again I am free,

Colors of blue and yellow wrap me as I gaze toward the sun.
My white satin ruffles sway against the wind.
Is this not the most perfect day?
This I do know.

Where they don’t deride
And I can be myself
Not a tiny, meek elf
Sharing in the joy
That we should all enjoy
Hiding from the shame
I thought was my name
It’s something I now embrace
As I win the rat race
Don’t tell me to be coy
