Stronger In the Broken Places

Awaken by the birds the sounds of the day about to begin lying in bed with your arms around as if you are shielding me from the world trying to protect me from past hurts and disappointments I am ready to face the world your love gave me the wings the emotional strength to face my demons and the peace to know that if I falter you are only a call away…

Wilma, Thank you for your prayers for John Loving. The sadness he is feeling must be overwhelming now. He wanted his relationship with April to grow and lead to a future together. God bless you for your thoughtfulness. It is hard to stop thinking about John's loss today. He is such a sweet man. Love, Carolyn

A very moving poem, Wilma. If someone provides you with the type of emotional strength you describe here and shields you from the world's hurts, you are very lucky to have found him. This is how love should feel, my friend. Love, Carolyn
