Clouds of Dust
The magician blew clouds of dust
from the ancient spell book:
‘Necromancy: Satisfy Your Lust.’
He chanted long and hard, but came unstuck,
and cried, ‘My strip-o-grams are rotten. Yuk.’

Contrafusion
the light fades
the dark spreads
the cord snaps
the string comes unstuck
waterfall ceases
river runs dry
the sea retreats
the mountain flees
the hill runs
is this the end
or the beginning of an end?
or beginning of a new dawn?...

Thin Veils of Pretence
Pretence at sacrifice concealed in a translucent veil as inverted altruism soon comes unstuck as its perfidy wears thinner and thinner to engender amazement, bewilderment, embarrassment and bemusement.

Shunt aside gifts to the
ego you flatter day and
night to blight your own life....

Blowing a Kiss
Blowing a Kiss

When irksome day, off tangles, comes unstuck
As the sun, behind a blushing sea, ducks
Thoughts of you I sorely miss
Pep me up to blow this kiss
To find you stooping , a red rose, to pluck.

Feral Dogs
Their hearing’s sharp; their eyes are keen.
They lurk in shadows; rarely seen.
The hunt goes on; but lose the fight,
against these killers of the night.

The traps are set; the bait is scent,
one tiny flaw, and hope is spent.
Their cunning mind, brings hope unstuck;
a hunters guile needs more than luck....

How To Avoid Overeating This Thanksgiving
The perfect way to avoid overeating this Thanksgiving is to put super glue on your lips.
If you're not able to eat your Thanksgiving dinner, it can't go straight to your hips.
That's the perfect way to avoid overeating this Thanksgiving.
But if you can't get your lips unstuck, one week later you'll no longer be living....

Stuck
how do I become unstuck
these wheels keep spinning in mud
how did I get so off-track
it must be this heavy load

I'm gonna need a little help
a gentle push to get out of this
you've always tried to help me
I know sometimes this was tough

what you need to remember is
I didn't get here by myself
so give me a push, a gentle tug
to get me back on track...

Doctor Rose
Dr. Rose can't diagnose
A thing that's wrong with me.
I'm flushed and red with an aching head
And pain in both my knees.

Although the're clean, my toes are green,
My ears have come unstuck,
I'm feeling sick, my elbows click,
My temperature is up.

"Don't be daft!" the doctor laughed.
"Don't take me for a fool!"
Somehow he knows, that Dr. Rose,
I don't want to go to school....

Life
When we are born, we do not know,
What life has got in store.
But if we did then perhaps maybe,
We’d want a little bit more.

We do not know if there’s a plan,
Or if life’s made of luck.
Plans we know don’t always work,
And sometimes come unstuck,

One thing we know, is life is short,
Too short to hesitate.
So make the most of what you do,
Heaven will not wait.

Picking a Favorite
With so many Disney Characters It’s hard to pick only one There were many that I liked so much They were all just so such fun The only way I can make a pick Is by thinking like a kid I thought and thought til my brain boiled I almost blew off my lid At last I narrowed it down to one Finally became unstuck It’s the one I learned to imitate I could talk like Donald Duck

Limerick: Once a mincing Mrs. from Mississippi

Once a mincing Mrs. from Mississippi*
Went to a bank for a fiddle-d-dee
But her girdle got stuck
And the “SS” came unstuck
That’s why Missis ends as a double P..

*No aspersions cast on Mississippians here;
the term refers to the Paleozoic era in North America,
following the Devonian and preceding the Pennsylvanian,
of course.

Unstuck
It’s easy to do nothing
And accept things as they stand
Or you risk some disappointment
If there’s something you have planned.

For, though change is often healthy,
There’s a chance that you’ll regret it
And so, prior to commitment,
Many simply say, “Forget it!”

If, like me, you can’t move forward,
Reach inside and, with some luck,
You may find some untapped power,
Just enough to get unstuck.

Label Sticker Man
Label Sticker Man
There is a man with a special job
He sticks stickers on apples
They have to be stuck the right way up
And central on the apple
Without folds or unstuck bits
It’s a learned technique
And a very skilled job
Doing 80 a minute without error
Sticking stickers green apples
Sticking red apples
Sticking stickers yellow apples
Sticking stickers multi coloured apples
All apples need a sticker...

Stuck
I'm stuck,
Stuck in the hole you dug,
Captured,
Your friends captured me,

But theres just one thing,
I don't give,
Give in to doing things,

I said no,
Just leave me alone,
And go home,
I don't,
And I can't face you,

You,
Your the only one,
The one who can get me unstuck,
un captured,

Help I scream to the world,
Help I need someone,
Someone to help,
Even though your the only one to do that....

Hickory
Take you no bread nor wine.
Craving will die in time.
For those who endure rime
will know a joy sublime.

Hanging from windswept tree,
know yourself, know your deeds.
Drooping now over scree,
suffer in bitter glee.

Many days without cup.
Many nights without sup.
Riddles and truths unstuck.
Screaming still, take them up.

Cut down from hickory,
rise now in victory.
Feat for the century,
spread now your alary....

COPLA OCHO: This Bad Guy World

Think you this World upholds Justice
Or stands for Principle that’s right
Fool not yourself

Everything’s in place: throw no dice
To make this World go round alright
Fool not the Self

Life’s like a never-ending film
With its patched-up plot come unstuck
In your dream true

In films Bad Guy’s chances are slim
Think now how real life turns his luck
To win right through

Old Neighborhood Youth
It was always such a delight
To see the children out in the night
Batting stones to curb
Picking at snails that trailed on the side of the wall
Just waiting for it to unstuck and fall
Ice cream melting down their grubby hands
The sound of a ball pelting the wet sand
The sounds of the shriek and screams and laughter
The start of a new game and everything after
Nothing like watching youth in the neighborhood
That kind of joy didn’t stay like they say it would...

Premium Member Silly Me
I dressed in a funny hat,
on a banjo I did sat
strings were flinching from beneath
it held my rear, just like a wreath.

What is funny, I did ask
on your rear, a banjo mask
oh, my heavens up above
it fit my rear, just like a glove.

I turned and made a silly face,
and felt a little out of place
what I did, is already done
might as well, have some fun

Silly me, just like a clown
to wear a banjo, as a gown
say adios, to another day
get unstuck, and walk away.
