Perfect is the enemy of good
as perfection is
unobtainable
therefore striving
for perfection
is destructive
and therefore
Perfect is the enemy of good....

Kickball
In your spectacles,
Should I try them on.

I see more than I
Want, what I need
Is your labido.

Caressing my
Insides are you
Family Man.

And worshipping
Something unobtainable
Is my consolation prize.

Yet, I always end up
Taking last place....

Unobtainable Love
There is a beauty that covers with clouds.
But even cries of help don't reach its careful sound.
Entreat and persist and it'll have you blocked.
Money and bling will only make you look ponged.
No covet will reach it but you still plead it out loud....

Stripped
Stripped from all inhibitions
Yet forced to keep the feelings concise
Bathed in perfection for an unobtainable price
Clothed in the blood so that my mate I entice
Look at my scars, with their lies my skin whipped
My wounds were once covered, but with you I’m left stripped...

Justice Written 2004 Justice is the fair play we expect for a deed committed, mercy is the compassion displayed toward that deed. I seek justice, but only if mercy is unobtainable. Sometimes justice isn’t blind, but is merely money with a mask on. Tom

I Am, Therefore
I am,
therefore,

I was there,
there for every moment missed,

I spoke the words that meant so much,
not remebering why or what was meant,

I achieved every dream id held,
yet they seem so unobtainable,

I created every idea,
giving up and moving on,

i stand alive now,
but am i really living....

Games
Memories are unobtainable.
My mind may not let me know,
My mind may or may not let me see,

Time may be the teacher,
To all my unanswered questions.

Is it love?
Is it lust?
Is it convenience?

BUT AT WHAT COST?

The lonely child within screams for something.
What it is I do not know.
Let’s play a game!...

Letters To Heaven
I have a hole in my heart
An ache I wonder if it will ever subside
I have so many thoughts in my soul right now
A longing for something unobtainable
Something only heaven holds

They say time heals
And the pain will become less
And the hurt will eventually go away
But so far I still hurt
And I think of you every day...

To the place
We all will be
That God prepared
For you and me

All troubles vanish
From our past
Love, peace and freedom
For all at last...

Fado
Fado
What do we do with Fado, this guitar sound and
guttural Portuguese voice that has a twang of
Arabia in its heart and is pure poesy.

Life, loss longing and the finality of death, is in
songs that celebrate love’s unbearable sweetness,
our tragedy and the unobtainable.

Yes, sing me a Fado, let me hear the guitar and
I will close my eyes float in a sea of melancholy
and remember you....

''spring Symphony''
~Weather thy senses anew.
Bring now an enticed breathe.
I lavish in cherry blossom blooms.
Hills of bleeding hearts vow such sensual sweetness.
Speak thou soft field.
Corral Bells flourish in sun kissed light.
The wind carries orchid petals through my unobtainable fingers.
In thus, such a glorious day brushed by a natural love.
Shall my visions of gilded yarrow emerge.~

Inheritance
I kneel
before an altar of dreams
and haunt the tombs
of the Unobtainable.

I can't quiet the restlessness;
there is no pacifying
that ancient,
hand-me-down heirloom
to own an Elysium
I can not describe.

Is it my inheritance
to long for fire
with the sun in my hand
and thirst for a stream
with the Nile in my mouth.

Will I forever crave magic
and gorge myself on it
only to vomit truth
so I might own the emptiness again
and once again
satisfy my restlessness?...

Her Heart Is Unobtainable
Her heart is unobtainable
She haunts me in my sleep
My will is not sustainable
There's nothing left to keep

I've seen Her in my better dreams
But, they're too far away
At night, Her livid heart still screams:
'Why can't you let me stay?!'

I feel Her still, aside my brain
She's trying to get in
I'll lose my mind if she'll remain
So, don't let Love begin

I crumble, deep inside this text
My heart's a bitter crutch
When all I know is quickly vexed
I treat my dreams as such......
