Travelling through space with wings open wide
the eagle takes to flight in the evening gloaming
Tenebrosity of dark, coatings thick as matter
clinging to the tips of His feathered rise,
the aviator soars,
freely unencumbered by night
In a melancholic haze
slow moving
breath is laboured
through this time
heavy days
that are numbered
till by this thick air between us
I am unencumbered
till I can love you
my passion
present you my zenith
before you I will bloom
with the power of Venus
When love is
unencumbered and
free to grow as it will,
it is like
an exquisite flower,
its blossom
unfolding in the sun.
But if it is not
nurtured
and tended,
the flower withers
and dies
and there is
nothing left
except
fallen petals
on the ground.
Mischievous flint spark
razes lethargy’s prison
igniting joy’s fuse.
Majestic maple
sheds summer’s scarlet dreams
naked but for hope
Frolicsome breeze
unencumbered by custom
transports wisdom’s seeds
Still morning lagoon
shimmers cosmic buoyancy
atop deep pure peace.
In my dreams, freed
are my tethered feet,
unencumbered, above I soar
where eagles dare,
effortlessly,
in a world of
sugar dusted mountain tops,
where oh so sweetly,
whispered, airy breaths
gently lift me
higher and higher
above anything imagined
on earth
If is posted such a popular number

when dearest muse slumbers
I may try something to numb her

Liberating wind
Unbound and unencumbered
Flowing naturally
Distant from an opaque past
Running freely to anew
Basking in the beauty that is the night
Lovers embrace within dreams delight
Thoughts intertwine in each other’s arms
Succoring peacefulness, knowing no harm
A blissful respite from this earthly realm
Where worries smother and life overwhelms
Reconnecting thru wanderings in depths of slumber
For it’s here spirits thrive in time unencumbered

S ustained pleasure beyond human measure
T otally bared of stress and anxious care

Spiders.
If they we are gone tomorrow
they will rule the lands.
Building webs as
large as oak trees.
No humans in their way.
Their webs will
intimidate any rabbits
or snakes that survive.
They will catch them
up and feed on them
for weeks, unencumbered,
undisturbed, feeding
slowly and with
spider-like delight.
If we are gone tomorrow.
My heart sings soprano
As my muse and I face
A pristine white page
Both of us exhilarated
We look forward to
A day of unencumbered hours
Our excited imagination tears it up
Tossing down cartoons
Scribbling poem after poem
My right hand can barely keep up
As my soul slashes feelings across the pages
Creating faster than my mind can catch up
they wanted someone more responsible
hardly anyone noticed my absence
my demise was quite unremarkable
I offered absolutely no response
imagine they laugh a whole lot less since
they failed to understand the real me
unencumbered and completely carefree
spread my ashes to the southernly winds
I know exactly where I want to be
the end is a start, excitement begins

Reaching out forever, tranquility
Holding sky, sea, unencumbered
Keepers watch gradual gravitation's

The elements congregate, obedience

How swiftly the seasons change
