If We Are Gone Tomorrow

Spiders. If they we are gone tomorrow they will rule the lands. Building webs as large as oak trees. No humans in their way. Their webs will intimidate any rabbits or snakes that survive. They will catch them up and feed on them for weeks, unencumbered, undisturbed, feeding slowly and with spider-like delight. If we are gone tomorrow.
