Aliens All
Alien Captain Darth Veeder
Texted, "Take me to your leader"
He met Donald Trumup
And snarled, " What a grump!
You must be The Sludge-brained Tweeter!"

(For Caren Krutsinger's "Take me to your leader" contest)...

Poor Ms. Melania Trump
Still with the pathetic lump
Donald's nothing but a cad
Staying with him is so sad

Tweeter Mr. Donald Trump
Using brains from his rump
Still bullying for a wall
Melania has to bear it all

Trumpeter
TRUMPETER
Sandpaper comments,
Intolerant, indignant,
White House jihadist.

UN denier,
Mega-tweeter, Putin’s pal,
Friend of common man?

Hair like swan feathers,
Lips pursed in a brassy kiss,
No friend of Dizzy.

What Reveille wakes
Billionaire soldiers of change.
Your new president....

Mango Madness
mango madness

the best mangos
I ever had
were in India

in the early spring
mango madness
spreads across India

as mangos are in season
and mangos are everywhere
on every menu

so sweet
so fragrant
so magical

mango madness
takes over
my soul

as I eat my mango
dreaming mango dreams

tweeter speak...

Beware America's Democracy
When the erstwhile Tweeter-in-Chief vents
It is "Freedom of Speech," a First Amendment Right
When Democratic Party will "fight" tyrant-efforts
Defense rests on moral equivalence, yet last night
As many as seven Republican Senators got Party censures
For voting to convict Christian Trump of incitement (01/06/2021)

(c) Deo sheltering in place while US democracy blows over this planet....

Blissful Moments
That springtime smell with in the air
fresh flowers and blossom spray.

I feel the warmth and just know it wont
be long, anticipation of the suns grace
pleasantly shining upon my face.

As I stand and embrace this
glorious day, in a moment I'm
captivated held still and at peace.

I walk on for a while listening to the birds
as they tweeter. Sweet
melodies fill the air and in a
blissful moment I have not a care....

Lone Musketeer
Untrammeled by his Tweeting tears
His hand now explore forward gears,
Itching for a new leap,
Let ‘woods be dark and deep’,
For a hit, hard and hot,
Now or not, on the spot,
Not for naught a lone Musketeer!
