Premium Member The Cold Sting
Yeah.
Bought the ring
Tutti Frutti
Five-karat bling.

Toast a brew
We had a drink
Big scandal grew
Felt the cold sting.

Face tabloid news
Waiting till spring.
Winter time choose
A Double will fling.

Blue Gucci shoes
Songbird can sing.
Ten years gone past
Didn't mean a thing.

Whole Truth
Without spin
Both lose
Nobody wins....

Premium Member Rock Around the Clock With Flair and Fun
she's dress with flair and fun
in a red floral dress,
petticoat and finesse,
shoes color of the sun

she gathers up her dress,
he loosen his necktie
feel the music and fly
to 1950's success

toe tapping Summertime Blues,
and sweet Peggy Sue, chill
to slow Blueberry Hill,
fast pace Tutti Frutti, and booze

Premium Member The 50's
In this decade: pizza, soda,
Colonel Sanders,
burgers only fifteen cents;
"Tutti Frutti,"
sock hops, "mooning,"
Rock and Roll (monumental consequence);

Rosa's bus ride,
suburbs, fluoride,
escalating sales,
vaccine for polio;
Mickey Mouse Club,
Haley, Hitchcock,
Davy Crockett,
drive-ins,
 Fats Domino;

Causeless Rebel crashing car,
bouffant hairdos,
 "har dee har har;"
Elvis on TV

 and ME....

Premium Member Mad Marvin
Paisley bow-tie
  orange socks
polka-dot knickers
  suspenders dangling

Crazy Marvin's
  testing 'wonder-drugs'
to get his bank
  account jangling

Clouds of smoke
  puffs of steam
strange whistles
  bells jangling

Delirious, dizzy
  all in a tizzy
Marvin's predictably
  mangling

A formula for
  the tutti-frutti, raspberry
bubble-gum serum
  he's angling

To shove down
  my throat ~
Help me!
  I'm strangling...

O-Tat-Oes Jubilee
Petite-o-tat-oes, baked
of a fiery oven
Crispy skin
as spud's innards
fluff into a hot
morsel of delight
Butter-drowned
sour cream, spices

Romaine lettuce wedge
french bread-fresh-baked
creamy brie, Pinot Noir
tantalized taste-buds
Like a hot fudge sauce
effused
onto stone-cold
tutti-frutti
sensate's tongue tip

Salivation!
timer
hums
readiness -
Delectable
Consumption
of crispy, savory
Petite-o-tat-oes

To blue flames
set-ablaze
dessert of
"Cherries Jubilee"...
