Moonlight
I trawl through happy memories
Aided through old song
And for a fleeting moment
In gladness I belong
Humming in the moonlight
Absent mind floats on
Bringing back to my delight
Golden moments gone

Trust
Tell others your innermost secrets, please be aware
Reality is, it’s something that they’ll probably share
Unless you’re certain that they won’t be blurting
Share with a fake pal, you may find yourself hurting
Trolls still trawl through the internet – you bet!...

Peace Fire'
I'm piling up the anecdotes..Remarks and more besides.' I'll
Show historical content also, maybe others can't abide?
I'll even trawl my memory finely, going decades back' up till the
Present tense, and waiting; maybe some have got my back?
Or maybe its God that heals my spirit? Just Keeps me going on?
Till we get a ( peace-fire ) burning people' leaving dead ideals if they've gone.. Well quite wrong!...

A Party, a Ball, a Bash, a Riot
Let’s throw a big spectacular bash.
And party with a smash and some flair.
Then we can grow a sexy moustache.
And party on our face with some hair.
Maybe we should just have a ball.
And party with black tie and a coat.
Then we can all just go out on a trawl.
And party with the waves on a boat.
How about we all hold a crazy riot.
And party with a shout and a scream.
Then we can all just be really quiet.
And party by ourselves in our dream....

The Creeper
The next time you sleep don't enter your deep
And allow the creeper, into your mind he'll creep
Your inner shadows will darken as he seeks
Shredding your thoughts, internally you'll weep
He'll trawl through your secrets, no longer they'll be
Your posterity has been raped, now the creeper sees
Ones dark will get even deeper, into the abyss of your mind
This seeker of the sleep, just what will he find

Tormentors
Hatred comes in many a grade.
Divergent backgrounds will leave some swayed.
Aggressors will rarely share the facts.
They hide and trawl and wait to attack.
Kindness is not found in their hearts.
Antipathy and malice tears them apart.
They look around for power to gain.
Depraved contending is now their game.
Rogues will come and rogues will go.
Sadistic victimizing is now their goal.
Awfully imply they test our decrees.
These fainthearted consignments are never pleased....

Bookshop Osmosis
The glossy acrylic smell of new editions
is cordite to my nose,
an explosive mixture of - need to know.
I finger trawl over dust covers
mindreading unread masterpieces.
Movies ransacked many of these novels,
hearsay and word of mouth
account for aisles
of open secrets and
commonly revealed revelations.
I should obtain a dozen or so acclaimed sagas,
display them on a prominent shelf –
because, well, one really ought to,
or maybe just read last chapters,
if not too long.
