Kindred
Hooks and loops
Laced the path
Burning minds
Torching trusts
Tightened lasso
Strangling hopes
Frail words
Breaking bonds
A wheel's spoke, tightened
Of what, with guidance
Wheel-turned in motion
Loses no traction.
Lax for this , its ride
Crumples underneath.
Lax for that, its goad
Dark travelled its road
My Nails Started Bighting
Things around now have tightened
And made it has made me fighting
Polls never seem to be fair
Also are hard to compare
My nails have started biting.

tears melt like flowing lava
tumultuous heart silent
skipping beats
tightened throat vacant mind
blood drained
tears froze in duct blinded soul

tried to sell my cows
but the border closed
so i'd tightened my belt
and ride it out, i spose.
feedin calved out heifers and their young ones too
spending money on hay to feed beef i can't use.
How true it is that one can't find better friends anywhere
than in this friendly community we call, " PoetrySoup . "
Before verses sounded awkward and got no flair...
until they invited me in and tightened the loop.

The itsy bitsy batsies
climbed up me finger tips.
Sat on the tippy-tops
and tightened up their grips.
Out came the eyedropper,
fed each little bat.
Then down me fingers clambered they
as easily as that.
Pain
Tightened cardiac
Pressing excruciating benumbing
Confusion hospital cardiologists nurses
Trusting settling tweeting
Reassured confident

Tightened muscles tweak foreboding trills marking his silence
while aches of shrill shadows pit my paled bravado against loud fears -
my love etched heart would bear any truth hit to free us both.

I have always
been scared of tomorrow.
to appease my soul,
i've always clung to
yesterday.
but now i've seen
my future with you,
my dear.
i have tightened my grip
i'm no longer
letting go of yesterday.
I guess i know my way better.
Their mouth remain tightened to their lips
afraid to say that special word
their heart so much wants to hear
afraid to say "I love you" their voices remain in fear
not knowing what to say
they turned their eyes in different way.

A lonely fiddle, its strings once taut tense and
stretched, waiting to be tuned and played.
The limp horsehair bow, longs to be tightened
and drawn in sweet reverberations.

His voice is sweet,
My heart skips beat
And then I leaned towards him
To kiss!
A soft-landing impact,
Hits my lips,
Like a butterfly setting wisp,
My stomach tightened in knots,
Which really hurt,
Then I pushed away,
As reality comes to takeaway.
is part of the DNA

ash and soil
on the boil
of my childhood
The climb before
the dive.
When soft hands,
stroked milky cheeks.
Fresh snow sparkle
in sunlight.
Tears flow
like fresh streams.
Until I tightened
and the string broke.
she drew out spittle and split hair on her tongue in suspense
an audience pitched their bets as snot and mucus went dense
as she rattled nails tightened her fangs closed in on her foes
she only licked her wounds with phlegm to soften the blows

So bitter but oh so sweet
Enlivened tastebuds and tightened jaws
Better health I long to greet
Biding obedience to natural laws
Naturally cleansing and nurturing
Assimilation and digestion on high
Invaluable health I'm furthering
Toxicity and disease I bid a sweet good-bye
A deep breath in, a slow release,
Calming your mind, heart rate decreased.
Once tightened muscles, begin to let go,
Reminding yourself to take it slow.
Focusing on, your happy place,
Stress is gone, without a trace.
And as you dive into the real.
So differently you now feel.
In This Din I Can Sense You Near.
Illuded Love, Something I Fear.
A Part Of Me Lays At Rest.
Awoken By A Tourtured Past.
Declarations Made Through Disesembled Devotion.
And I Am Bound To This Endless Ocean.
Anxious Breath.
Tightened Chest.
Yes It's Hard To Reason With Lack Of Rest

There once was a young maiden named Stella,
Wont to sport a frown on her glabella.
When asked why that was,
She tightened her jaws,
Saying, " Ella has stolen my fella!"

I step from the ashes behind me
And look onward to the new sky.
I see freedom,
I feel new.
I have returned from the dust.
I am awakened in the fire,
Building up my city new.
The armor has been shined,
And the boots are tightened.
I walk through the fire,
Out of the ashes.
I am
Reborn.
You never touch
Just stare
One moment of sun
To melt me later
Do you smell my turmoil?
Your lips twist my minds tale
Your fingers strum hypnotic
Silence only wavered
For verse and chorus
Now tightened to me and my blink
Which you did breath in
In that longest night
While under jack's guidance
the chill wind through
a tightened throat blew
against the trees, upheaves,
unfastening the leaves
exposing limbs on eaves.
the leaves fell away
as wanting to play.
they ripped their way
through the breezeway.
they been noticed after all
knocking into the wall
then vanish down the hall.

The Son in my eyes
Is brightness
From my high horse
With reigns tightened
Thrown into darkness
His likeness
Formed scales on my eyes
So frightened
Then touched, I received
My sight and
The Son in my eyes
Is still brightness
He's the One true Lord
Now enlightened
I want to be like Him
And His likeness
waterside vigil
buffalo nears water hole
lions crouch low nearby
three-pronged ambuscade
buffalo calf culled from herd
swift pincer attack
quarried prey springs forth
stressed calf serpentines about
lead lion cuts angle
driven toward snare
flanks assaulted from both sides
vise tightened prey clasped
