I long for
that room
inside
of me
that will
pull me in
from the
threshold
of myself

Walked acrost the wooden door
Threshold above the wooden floor
Forewords world is the score
Sad and weary the tales I lore
I stand at the edge
Twixt rock and fire
Too weary to fight
Too angry to stop
The crows that haunt my waking steps
May never know peace

I thought graduation would feel like an ending.
Instead,
it feels like standing in a doorway,
not ready to leave
And unable to stay.
Many stand before the door of knowledge but few its threshold are able to cross!

a doorway breathes out starlight
hinges sighing like ancient skies
galaxies pooling at its threshold
night waiting inside
sad the gates of paradise are, for though wide open to all, few cross their threshold!

By day, I turn the thought of him into anger and let it harden. By night, I ache for his knock, for him to cross the threshold and find his way back to me.
Oh how much I envy you Old Year for being able to renew yourself at the threshold of oblivion!

i turn the key
and cross the threshold
to a blissful world
of enchantment and serenity
where you await me

And snowy grace

Into a world of wonder

A precious plunder
Waiting to be kissed.

I stand, inept
on the edge of dreams
Oblivion waits
and darkness, like a mother,
opens her cloak
At the threshold of time
no-one can release you
from yourself
I choose life.

Why'd it have to end so soon
He carried me 'cross an ocean resort's threshold
~ Now I'm greeted by mountains of laundry to fold
When we are

our final journey,
May God never let any of us
have a life

a life in despair,
in tears
and in need
Today I awoke.
Pain tearing the thin, doped veil

a blur
on the threshold
of my perception-
an image emerges,
slowly
becoming a thought-
words follow,
then a line,
then a stanza-
order from chaos,
this poem
from a perception
Feeling the steel slip thru flesh
The event horizon reached
There can be no turning back for you
The threshold has been breached
So now it's fade to black my friend
And the final sweet release
