Fearing to do tests
Corona apart
Fearing of positive not a part
Dying apart
Something firing
In their hearts
Pen flies when out of sight,
Boy, I hope that I'm right.

Welcome New Year, 2022,
Meaning RAT tests for me and you,
I have a question to ask,
Do Oz males RAT tests pass?
Does it mean they're all good rats,
Do bad rats pass or fail? Drats!
This life is full of challenges and tests ~
It's mere preparation for what's to follow
when our souls transcend into the butterflies
that they are meant to become in afterlife.

The computerized MAP test
Who could take it seriously?

A state test, only in Missouri
I watch a fourth grader complete his
Answering forty-two questions in seven minutes
Hooray for him I think
Third grader is braiding her hair in an elaborate way.
Not students are supposed to do on testing day.
I do not care, keeping my opinions about this test at bay.
Validity of this idiotic waste of time has plenty of frivolous fray.
Testing sucks for both you and me
On that I think all can agree
Stuck in with nothing but a pen
Constantly wondering when will this test end
At first you may try to be right but it won't be long
Before your saying eh i could be wrong

Their job is easy
Nothing to do all summer

Life tests
Tests, tests, tests,
We really do our very best,
Revising for hours,
Can't marking be ours?
Can't teachers do tests,
instead of picking on us,
And let us go home early on the bus.

IQ test has some serious flaws
one is blatant
the child is shown a caricature of a head
the examiner asks “what is missing?”
His body is missing
His car is missing
His phone is missing.
His freckles are missing.
The child is supposed to say his eyebrows are missing.
I give this test, and I often have to look up the correct answer on this one.
Other answers that seem a lot better are given no credit
Got up at seven,and nothing
to eat.
Tried to get ready,and beat
my feet.
A trip to Council Bluffs,
for two more tests.
Do I really need to tell
you,all the rest.
Just two hours,and it
was all done.
Off to the mall,to have
us some fun.
I went shopping,and
found some new shoes.
I needed some money,
to pay what was due.
I went to my husband,
and was off like a dove.
He gave me the money,
and said;your my love.
Some students finish standardized tests quickly
Others take elaborate amounts of time
My cousin Suzette always finished first
She filled in the oval bubbles with faeries and butterflies
Made elaborate designs that required all of the ovals in a row
If a teacher thought to look at her oval answer sheet she went ballistic.
Reporting her to my aunt, her mother, another teacher.
Luckily my aunt did not put any faith in these tests.
