You Are Not Forgotten
{RIP}
Her courage became wild stallions,
Stampeding on bronze-stained dirt.
They were untamed,
Their manes
Thick with fearlessness.
Seed frozen in cloud
forms head, wings, limbs, in spiral.
Fly angel snowflake!

Takes two to make a team
Takes both of us to make it through
Just takes one of us to love
But it takes two to
Make it
Happen
Form:
hold hands
making a stand
is part of the plan
walking in the rain
it can be a pain
this is part of the dream
IT
TAKES A TEAM

For Silent One's
One Liner - Entertainment Poetry Contest
Alone, not lonely
A book by my side, rousing
Soul’s one and only
Mind and heart calmly browsing
My thoughts gently carousing
I gave you every chance
I trusted and I believed in you
~ was I asking too much?

Why do some think they know it all without listening or learning anything new?
I think it’s a shame, it does not make sense. It makes me sad and blue.
The cat can stretch out anywhere
In grass or gravel
In catnip patches
However he has a favorite spot
In front of the front door
Holding us hostage
Out of love we transform from dust to mortal
A little stain in character
We struggle to attain seventy
At the end of the lengthy age we go back to dust
Is this what it takes
For me to sit down
And write again?
It’s sad to think
That I needed you
To rip out my heart
For me to carve my words once more
Form:
Poison is poison
Construction and destruction
One who takes suffers
i can only give you
if you do me too
its a too way feeling
we both have to appealing
cause it all like a water fall
comes from above
it
TAKES TOO TWO LOVE
Torching of air paused
Summer takes sips of mint tea
Whispers of autumn
The med staff may hear my voice squeak
Where they insert tubes we won’t speak
Since this causes pain
I wish they’d refrain
Or try going straight not oblique
I've never read a baseball sonnet
Nor thrown a curve with mustard on it
Yet when the umpire shouts 'Play Ball'
My heart takes off like a rising fastball
My mind sees the blankness of the page
And cannot stand it.
So she tells my muse
Who begins to type
aimlessly, recklessly, zanily,
without my permission….
every leaf
that fill blue sky
does autumn make
please tell
me why
leaves that
swirls behind us
shall not break
are all the leaves
that autumn takes
....I can't fight this feeling anymore
I've forgotten what I started fighting for ?
It's time to bring this ship into the shore, and throw away their oars, forever.
Form:
Thunderous waves day and night
They persist intent to erode coastal cliffs
They’ve eternity in their corner
