The game was tag, your it
When tag, he threw a real fit
He cursed and sweared
And also he dared
So, the others said, they quit

And now its her phone that's well hung

Price Tag

I am priceless,
divinely perfect,
beyond man made monetary restrictions,
my worth is the weight of my soul multiplied by the stars in the universe,
I will accept nothing less.

Came With a Price Tag

not free
came with
a price tag
through
bribery
tried to
win
affections
used any
means
necessary
to achieve
that goal
but it
proved
to be
too expensive

The Toe Tag Generation

Its the ninth day of April
and the sixth soldier dies.
We're the toe tag generation,
dropping like house flies.
Six in nine days
yet we're all heading home.
Bonds stronger than life,
we'll never again be alone.

Just a Kiss (Tagged By C. Devonshire Attempting To Tag....Emily Kroeger

Earthworm-like twins, parallel to
one another
quivering and both equally
yearning to explore

the others skin.

Tension-free, nervousness leaves
in that moment
I remember the Butterflies
and the Finger-tip tickle skinsation.

Shadow Tag

As i run through the dark,
Cold and alone,
The shadows give chase,
chilled to the bone,
i duck and hide,
behind a tree,
then the roots,
curl around me,
i kick and scream,
as they drag me down,
under the ground,
peace i have found.

Freeze Tag Players - Mosquito Treats

I was frozen in place when
I felt it “bite me” – a nip
On my neck from a pesky
Mosquito – oh no!

I couldn’t move to kill it,
So I stayed still. But cringed when
I saw the mosquito land
On Deborah’s nose!

Mother's Child Tag

You're the only one I have
The life within my life
Maturity sits at point blank range
Tiring so easily

This business of growing up
Set in concrete
No escaping nature's water
No matter the plea it makes me grow

I want to stay
Safe in the ground
Nurtured and fed
Whatever is out there

I really don't want to know!!!

Verdacht

I Love It Here ( Tag To John Freeman)

Why thank you Bill for tagging me

To write a poem for soup family

I love it here, i'm having a ball

My dream is to inspire all

A place where you can truly be

Expressive in your poetry

A place where you just have to show it

Because just like you

Tag Along Rhyme

every poem that i find
in the deep recess of my mind
always comes equipped with
a tag along rhyme

not strong enough
to stand on its own
this particular rhyme
needs the structure of poem

so it stands on the edge
of the thoughts in my head
when a poem does comes along
it jumps at the chance

to stick out its thumb
to hitch a free ride
around these parts known as
the tag along rhyme
