home or in rome
you carry on
staying touch
one you love much
you write you tyde
if your able
its a
PIN AND A TABLE
The fork goes on the left.
The poor go on the streets.
And the crock sits on the table
when the date has blessed defeat.
Much thoughts of you as
praying am I that you may
reserve but a seat
amongst your humbled table,
if only in faded memories.
Doggie paw patting
My leg under the table
Notice me, love me,
Give me a sweet treat to eat
Don't make me have to repeat!
On the tall table
Resides a small Christmas tree
With a Santa hat
When his eyes open to show
The vacant stare of plastic
morning stillness
I sit at my table
and look out the window
after rain
the sun pokes through clouds
waking dreams
there is no food
on the space
which would have a plate
if they had a table
that would fit
in the house
that isn't there
Now a memory,
Mama's long dining table,
Big enough for nine.
Great platters over-flowing
With fresh food from her garden.
The fork goes on the left.
The poor go on the streets.
And the crock sits on the table
when the grape is pressed to treat.
Waiting for someone
a red rose on my table
It may be for me
Or anyone else
start of the new love story
of innocent heart
The man boiled his manifesto
with dry red pepper and ginger
those who taste it, young and old
shade tears of wit at table
A white piece of paper lies on a blue table
She looks at me out of the corner of her eye
A flock of birds flies into the air
In the wooden bowl
Persimmons on the table
Next to the fruit cake
Half eaten on a large plate
Leftover cheese and crackers
To influence or to persuade
is not from opposition made
Sit together at the table
~ to antagonists disable
At the kitchen table I like to linger while I drink ginger tea
Planning my weekly shopping list I must remember corn and peas.
some or able
push under the table
truth is wide
some like to hide
its a fact no going back
you youth
tell then
THE TRUTH
this is my task
a glass
at a table
as we're both able
to sit talk and drink
and plan and think
too
its
WINE ME AND YOU
White crepe rose petals
fallen. Onyx table top.
Charmeuse memories
shimmer: Cloisonne vases,
Peau de soie breezes wafting.
if your able
sit at a table
have a clover
talk thing over
no one hads this will
love can fulfill
WE HAVE
NO RIGHT TO KILL
Idle hands,
resting on the table.
All strength sucked out,
lifeless.
Touching,
feeling,
but sensation is no more.
dinner table lit
gentle caress on the cheek
tender touch of lips

Poor man's christmas,
table sans festivity
shortage of food
excess of tears
That time of the year.
Families all gathered up.
Waiting eagerly,
Prize turkey on the table.
We call this dream thanksgiving.
