sudden wintry blast
four and twenty blackbirds caught....
last call all points south
For Haiku 2 contest
spring renews what winters take
morning light begins to break
sudden ripples stir the shore
every silence starts to wake
An enormous wind crawled into my window sill
I stand still, layered with chills
An energetic aura shapes my ghostly curtains
Brief letter seals a goodbye
Are you telling me?
Life goes on?

God's Purpose
Miracle Man

The Widow Maker,
Sudden Cardiac Arrest,
God had a purpose.
I hid my feelings,
but whenever I saw you
they poured out like a fountain—
a sudden sparkle,
a beauty I couldn’t contain.
Busy at work my home,
A fleet of black ants,
Loading bits and pieces like tanks,
Rain came sudden,
Once ants gone hidden!
Balanced on a wire so sharp ---
I wince each time I breathe ---
A sudden exit from my life,
would bring such sweet relief.
Dry grass staring at
Sweet water in your sleek glass
A sudden tempest

silence is violent

Millie Tarry popped a balloon
But it popped a little too soon
The sudden noise
Upset some boys
Who were blowing up The Tribune
Smarts phones
Came up with many options
Few known
Many unknown
Some not given
Some gone hidden
To live with Corona is sudden!
and suddenly just like that
in less than a wink or flash
he was lost forever gone

Slow flowers explode sudden flushes
Waking days already warming rooted wintered bulbs
Hibernated yawnings burst from trees
Still reeling from the blow
His alchemy charge opened a sudden hole
In left in utter disbelief
How words could be so vicious and cleave
as cold sudden rain
pummels our umbrella. . . . .

A sudden embarrassment,
a moment of shame
A lifetime remembered

Any starting
presages the result
but the word
“Sudden” comes accidentally!
oh; it changes the whole
