The mute sense dazed by trance adrift elusive,
never wavers a moment to lacerate
the endangered dormant psyche unwary.
Contrived by passion dream of pale possession,
sapped by nascent sunrays curtain pores suck in....

Cosmetic Dentistry
My signal
is made with my mouth
where I eat
and where I kiss.
I say yes around my lips,
biologically I may
suck in or
disembogue here.
My smile is
the main
face of my yes,
eight teeth
I keep fresh and
well shaped.
My smile is
more important than
my soul....

She
She

Her skin
is bruised
so easily,
leaving layers
of itself
like calling cards
Soft old bones,
prone to breaks
Lungs that
no longer
suck in hope
A girl inside
an envelope
of worn-out flesh
and bitter dreams
No one touches her
for fear she
will crumple
and be blown away
by some callous wind...

Cleanse
laying on the sandy beach
at the ocean's edge
toes close to the water
hands behind my head

I shut my eyes real tight
and suck in my breath
I'm ready for the briny wave
to sanctify and cleanse

this has always worked before
but doesn't help this time
the wound is way too deep
and burns when the sea gets in...

Premium Member Imperishable Love
Our best resource taken-in
and stored, is Love Imperishable:

that which we dearly do,
say, suck-in and breathe out --
prospering the heart, mind
and soul – substance of love;
charges of love, jumping
worldly synapses, making connections
immortal – for nothing of love
is ever entirely forsaken – perhaps by man,
but never by God~ Our Eternal!...

Lackadaisical
Transcendental dreams on torrid currents
Sing to sleep the slow-dimming day.
My earth shatters mote by mote,
Each crumb of life more faded.

Burst up, bloom out, REACH
The world awaits
A moment of succumbing passion.
Be more than you have been.

Suck in the sweet nectar of each
Passing Moment
Shine with glimmering reflected
Light

You only have one....

Waters
She draws me down into her waters
where the brave only wish to be
drowning in a deep connection
her contours are all I need

my fingers splash against her body
and I suck in her gifts of life
succumbing to all her senses
that soon will sure ignite

I kiss her soul and wander
exploring this new found hand
her rivers running rapid
carrying me to distant lands...

On the Spot Right Now
My ears are warm
Ones burning up
I'm so tired
I could sleep for a month.

The rain is cold
I need to awake
As I'm going to a party
That has birthday cake.

My smile will be false
Until I snap back to life
If I can't seem to do it
I'm gonna be in strife.

I'll take a deep breath
Suck in with all my might
Shake away my tiredness
And go have a good night.

Stare
You’re not listening
You’re not LISTENING.
It walks it wends it winds it
Sighs.

I tried to taste the glistening light
I tried to suck in the sweet simple sadness
I tried to swallow the smashing waves
But instead
They swallowed me.

Will it stay with me?
This sticky poison, clinging to my throat.
Stinging in my lungs.
Bringing down my heart,
Beat by beat
Until all I have left is the neuron synapse
That makes pupils dilate, and eyelids blink.

Empty....

Here Comes the Kid
Here I sit in peace and quiet
Much unlike years of riot
All alone as though I'm hid
Peace until, here comes the kid!

I suck in and try to strive
Then I learn he wants to drive
OMG this can't be true?
I did this twice at 42

Where can I go that I've not been?
Grandchild's NOT my next of kin?

Someone come and get him
Please take him on the road
My peace and quiet is over
Tis quite a heavy load!

God Bless all grandparents...

Premium Member For a Vacuum Cleaner

Oh, mighty vacuum cleaner, like magic,
you gobble debris polluting my domain
that pervades carpets, surfaces, and air-
leaving behind, a spotless, pristine home.

Oh, vacuum cleaner- fancying you could
direct your sweeping power over Earth-
suck in its choking, atmospheric grime;
eliminate, cleanse- alike my tiny world.

Appeal to Poetry
We enjoy reading poems from the past.
They describe those ages, their horrors.
Should we regret delectation as we suck in,
and smile at, repugnance, misery, sadness?

Should we repel such poems of sorrow
choose only humour, gladness, joy?
So easily can we turn our backs on
misery that tortures so many.

So quickly may we lie on the ground,
punch it with clenched hands,
roar with our cries; or may we smile,
get up, forget what is so far behind us?

Sniff
Calm. Watch. Sniff.
We are dogs
with runny noses yet tongues sealed
as we detect the unjust stamp on our rights
and still,
tie our tongues and breathe in hurtful words
Where's the relieve?
Where are the seeds?
Why suck in talent?
Why sniff in evil and still oppose our instincts?
Why not let this runny nose unravel the underwear of hypocrisy?
Sniff in
Sniff out
the accursed lies and tales of doom.
And now,
spread out
the mucus of truth and stench of liberty...

My Beautiful Gilded Prison
I stare out through my golden cage
The bars of my beautiful gilded prison,
I suck in my breath to let out my sweet melody,
But the air in my prison is putrid, toxic.

I beat my wings at the golden bars,
Of my beautiful gilded prison,
My foolish heart promises I can break those bars,
But I fall to the floor, nursing my broken wings.

I summoned the last bit of fight within,
And flew against the cage door,
And hoorah! The latch flew open,
And I tasted the fresh air of freedom....
