We are fast becoming a country,
radicalized by those with the idea,
that everything should be free,
and the rich punished.
To close the gap between rich and poor,
They advocate bringing those with less, up,
by bringing those with more, down.
He earned over a million in 2016
Then he did it again in 2017...
Did he redistribute his earnings to the poor
Did he sacrifice any creature comforts to cure
All the world's ills, which we know --
'Cos Comrade Bernie's told us so --
Requires replacing evil capitalist societies
With Comrade Bernie's socialist pieties

Oceans of liberals got wet one day
Hung out to dry under the Hilary sky and skirt
Drip after drip
Drop after drop
God-less, parent-less, out of work
They abide by the Bernie rules
On socialist shores living on pennies
Thrown out the windows are old white men
Weathered corporations roll on the waves
Oceans of young liberals pray for war
Something more than fishing for a reason
To continue, to be sure
Waving on a thin line cast in a fever
Shouting out “Trump no more”
