Hi Anne; absolutely! We put criminals in jail, not because we don't forgive them...it is to protect the innocent. Children in particular must be protected best we can. "It is rarely a knowledge deficit that leads to a diagnostic error; more commonly, it is flawed thinking." -- Pope.

You have to admire them, though; as long as I have been on Soup, I have never heard one of them say that they are sorry; not one apologize for anything...they are always right. Always someone else's fault -- the man with the funny reddish hair, or those less educated Conservative's. Restoring Law And Order somehow now has become criminal. Go figure. It is the Federal Government's duty to oversee policing of our Capital -- making certain that filth and crime are kept at a minimum (allowed only in Congress)...all done by the books, constitutionally...yet to Liberal Democrats, this sensible legal function has morphed into a negative (?). Would be nice to see at least one break ranks with the pack, and say, you know, maybe I was wrong.
