Politick
an old man's mouth
nose dives

the slumping drawbridge
of an flattened fortress

rocketing obscenities fallout
fissioned lips as overtaxed
silkworms labor on

spinning cesium shrouds
to hide our dead
from presidential eyes...

Slapped Down
This is actually a Shadorma. I wrote it in response to a review of the anthology that was done for research of the brain disorder that my son has. The review was a personal attack on me. Writing this, helped me get past it.

She slapped me
slumping sliding dumps
cascading
I'm held down
I feel like I cannot breathe
gone into hiding....

Baying Hounds
BAYING HOUNDS I will forsake them ignore them-- the baying hounds of my heart and head sad-eyed and old with belly slumping to the ground awaiting… another silent turn of the moon to promote their noisy- toothless challenges summoning lupine lore stirring up a storm of maddening mental architecture with the chase of foreplay foray and glory

But birds don't ask why, they just spread their wings and fly.

Craving Love
I tried to plant my words,
those untold stories in a book,
and caged my melodies on your lips.

I tried to stroll on a path
Smiling in excitement
from those cold utterances from a heart.

I tried to inscribe you in my Diary
Draw your names with roses
and design your heart like Furnished Paradise.

I tried to love you
with my heart battling to a sigh
that will cause it slumping in LOVE....

Sitting silently Motionless Emotionless Stagnant thumps from my heart Barely a beat Slumping sideways Dialing my way Nothing can save me Lonely So lonely So tired
Mirrored by scars Curvaceous figure Blade in hand Daggers deep deploying pain Depleting my heart of what was Severing Love...

The Second
the half drawn eyelid son grew weary
 under his lamp.

slumping next to the shade that drew
 his voice to a sigh.

slight the long shadow and grieve a mother.

the less saught after second born
son of abraham.

slaughterhouse drunk son of a b
dont turn to fast now or you might spin him.

slow the hours of the day.

slower still now the second glance.

the frail hand on the wall permits a
little stillness if only for a second....
