The pits of death
My broken heart
Skipping beats a warning
One day I guess my heart will stop
From living life in mourning.
Grimy grubby unkempt unscrubby
He pranced around with keen delight
Skipping on cool cobblestones
Throughout the amazingly fun night
Enthusiasm
God-Filled Joy
Jumping Skipping Laughing
Spiritual, Confident, Eager Self
Enthusiasm
White water lilies
Singing gospel hymns
Like a church choir while
Listening to a parade of pebbles
Splashing and skipping across the pond
Willow tree leaning, hunched
Weeping leaves into steams skipping
Over stones and decaying twigs.
Ships that pass unseeing
In the shade.
It's that time of year
The sun's rays now feel near
With the time change comes some hope
Look and See! ~ Two kids skipping rope
His smile awaiting
His bright eyes like deep, dark pools
Skin so unblemished
His walk---so swift and so smooth
Intense skipping of my heart
Frisky
frolicsome
ace acrobats
defying gravity
like that
___
Skipping
across lawn
arching, rippling
endless sassy-fussing
spitfires
He's skipping
To fourth grade
After the break
He's skipping
Half a year
And it has
Brought us cheer
2 c what
He knows
2 c how
He's grown
Skipping a rock from shore.
I loved to watch the ripples form.
Placid wrinkles in midsummer moonlight.

Alone by a stream
skipping stones
aimlessly
No, that's too trite
--randomly, perhaps
What's the use of
pretending
that it's meaningful
Listen to poem:
Happy-go-lucky alive and free
Joyful in all weathers
Embracing the silver lining
Skipping, joie de vivre
Spirit enlivening, vibrant, rejoicing
the weight of the world
on her shoulders ~
the other children
playing outdoors
and skipping rope
like every other day

Tic-Toc
Tic-toc the ticking
Crocodile goes skipping
Through every sand
Of mortal man...
Tic-toc the ticking

Rhyme
My Pen
Glides along smooth
Never skipping a beat
Always moving across the page
Smooth words
One day I’ll become the Phantom
And enter your cozy room
To the winds, sans a hint
Skipping the Moon’s glint
And on your lips
I’ll impress
A kiss
Ishhh!
Flat, gray skipping rock
Worn smooth by years of living
Perfectly rounded
Bouncing along life's river
Propelled by the strength of love
Nothing lasts
as long as it seems
the world made of concrete
or my heart
skipping a beat
with the rustling leaves
and the moving shadows
on the dark street.
Donald and Harvey skipping and free,
never were two men more friendly,
holding hands and keeping things down low,
no telling how far a friendship will go!
skipping on tip toes
sharing secrets with the wind
a hush of crisp leaves

Joyful
Enthusiastic, Excitedly
Frolicking, dancing, skipping
Face, Smile, Covers, Bed
Hiding, Secluding, Sleeping
Sluggishly, Depressing
Sorrowful
Thoughts pink with suspicion
Hearts skipping beats like a percussion
The time stopped, lost in contemplation
Confusion, convention, condensation.
Form:
shooting star leaves light
kiss on distant treetop while
skipping out of sight

gamboling along -
springtide lamb, pure, snowy-white,
ebony ears & face
the frolic, precious; a kid
skipping with vivacity
