Alone

Alone by a stream
  skipping stones
     aimlessly
No, that's too trite
  --randomly, perhaps
What's the use of
     pretending
that it's meaningful

A chore for thought-time. There's meaning in them after all.

Perhaps many of us struggle to find meaning in our daily activities, Gershon. And finding the right word choice can be elusive. Random or aimless, the stones still skip over the stream. Compelling thoughts, my friend. Hugs, Carolyn

Thank you for you in-depth comments on this and my other writes. I just love reading what you have to say. 'Keep those cards and letters coming, Carolyn. Thanks again, Gershon

Loved this and aimlessly? That is what skipping stones is all about, at least to me. So why do we skip stones...because we can. : )
