Purple Flames of Autumn

Downhill
Start fighting
All the lying
Truth sliding
Go hiding
Relationship dying
Who is siding?
People driving
Away goes trying
Pain subsiding
Permanently underlying
No more crying
Inside sighing...

Trump In Wrong Way Jerks Us
Trump In Wrong Way Jerks Us

Never random and he does things on purpose,
Just like they would do in  a three ring circus;
Audacious animal riding;
With Republicans siding,
While wrong way Trump always does jerk us.

Changing the Mind's Diaper
"Cut that crap out"
says hemisphere
left to right

sending

cerebrums cavorting
minding thoughts
contrite

siding

best scrape away
that sludge grudge
and blight

seeing

changing the mind's diaper
gives a clogged mind
fresh sight

Family Gathering
Family Gathering

He dreaded family gathering and now
he was in the middle of one.

Tried to lasso the wind (Samuel Johnson)
of old slights remembered.

They turned to him called him a coward
always siding with his mother or being absent.

He just sat as not hearing the coward bit riled
as usual he absented going into his den....

Premium Member Autumn Scene
AUTUMN SCENE

Something framed within tells an autumn scene
Though grass be still green
Flowers yet bloom in lively color
A lonely bush flaps the protective white house siding
Southward leans
And o’er the rooftops
Clouds blown dizzy in confusion
Race against the Moon
Billow such far away grays
That something contained within
Tells of autumn days...

I'm
I'm, that old man third house from the corner,
the house that needs new siding.
Whose dog barks at you when you walk by.

Sits out on the porch same time each day,
rain or shine, winter or summer, on a
ripped beach chair waiting, for the mail to come,
then.
Disappears back in the house, until the next day,
to do it all over again.

Moody's Groove
rough lumber
and 32 inches of
concrete stabilized cobb
with interior and siding
and rough lumber ends
to make the interior
look like a log cabin
a overlapping roof
with windows centered
16 inches inside
the
rough lumbered walls
a rustic modern
living area
to sheild the
persons from the
ruffs of winter
and the harsh heat
of sumer....

Premium Member Scam Likely
My I-phone rang yesterday; it was a number I did not know
Next to it words read “Scam likely”
how many people would race to answer this one?
I rolled my eyes, glad for a modern day phone.
In the olden days we would have salesmen all the time.
Trying to sell us siding, cars, a new modern mop.
I used to hand the phone to a toddler until they hung up.
Made the toddler happy too....

I'M From
I’m from white shutters pressed on light blue siding,
from yellow walls that were always shining.
I’m from thin and thick framed glasses.
I’m from loud mouths.
I’m from impartial minds,
and I’m from prejudiced minds.
I’m from porcelain and freckles,
as well as color.
I’m from hardworking veterans,
as well as patient teachers.
I’m from many different things,
and they make me who I am....

We Walked In Oak Cliff
We walked in oak cliff
Down a street, Rosemount I believe
a house, a dream
we released this home
It breathes,now
underneath
plastic, siding
we conceive
a life, a child
That’s her room
she could play
My studio
With windows
build
a entry way
windows
the kind that stick
and resist Your fist on the frame
But life exists
In wood floors
A scratch, on buffet
what stories they tell
what treasures in age...

Premium Member Salesman On the Phone Game
Salesman on the phone
A game I play well.
Love it too

When my children were toddlers
I merely
handed them the phone

When they got older
I started trying to sell the salesman
aluminum siding, Tupperware, Avon,

I called this new game
Beat the clock
The win was easy….did I beat my last time?

How long would it take
for the salesman to get irritated
and hang up.

My best time
Three minutes
I am proud of that....

Knowing
Even as trees feel some pensive mattering
from when all motion seems as sensitivity
a faith, I found from holding onto nothing
but to thy honor ~ patience rail, proclivity!

The dust around us swirls, convex in hiding
our true affair with it, constraint abiding,
for in God's care two souls emerge confiding,
as when creation formed its bonded siding.

Seizing rain, two entities residing
in love's true finding, far from shallow breakers riding!...

Inside Happiness
Happiness is an emotion that i don't show very often, The Evil inside kills me everyday not to show it coming. Joy, where did you go? I can't find you anymore, where are you hiding? Please come back to me, i want to feel you when ever i want it siding. The smell of you next to me is so peaceful, But i cant see your magical touch cause its i am not too cheerful. Slap me or do what ever you want to me, Crawl inside me and make me feel you freely.

Dark Visions
A slow rolling fog
On the ground hanging.
Shutters banging
upon the siding .
Full moon rising
as wolves howling .
Goose bumps rising
as door schreaching.
Slowly walking
in a cemetery .
Owls a hooting
as limbs crunching .
Leaves rustling
as you walking .
Mind wondering
as you passing
the dead walking .
Rotting
Stinking
Oozing
they reaching
and hunting
for another killing .
Drolliing
as they walking .
My heart throbbing
as I hear them chanting .

Hush, Like Snow Falling, Such a Yearning Is Mine
Hush, the snow falls,
such a yearning
is mine..

the twilight enfolds
with soft, quiet convictions-
charcoal sketches

of a house-
snow-frosted slate shingles,
the siding in blue shadows

with sunlight
colored windows, a wedding-
white lawn.

A buttercup moon
is nearby, held in the stripped
Winter limbs of a tree;

the tiny snowflakes
are the stars bursting and stinging
your face..

Hush, the snow falls,
such a yearning
is mine...

I Am Leaving
~~~~~i am leaving~~~~~
           i am leaving
           running fast
           here comes
           the invader
           of nostalgia
           they've no
           want for bliss
           their thoughts
           and reasons
           had no poetry
           their appetite
           is for restive
           their fulfilment
           is you siding
           their opinion
           so I am leaving
           running so fast
