its not fun
always on the run
its hell
you can be a shell
from pain eyes rain
in life it don't fit

what's worst than blood lust
the shell shock of another war
what's worst than trust lost
the shell shock of a child lost

Rise!
You are
outgrowing
that smaller shell;
Smash breakable glass!
It’s not fragile;
Cages were
never
real.
Stuck on brown seaweed,
its fate is sad...it awaits
death in dark exile.

I am no body
husk of maiden, shell of she
smiling Buddha cheeked
children crawl from crossed legs
poetry flies from my hands

Glowing
mother of pearl
emerged from the dark shell
of deep ocean to calm sleep with

Half of clam shell sits deserted
Scene's purity threatened by storm
Gravitational force pulls sea
in my downward course
i've exposed the emptiness in my heart
your prediction was correct
i'm nothing but a shell without you
water trumpet
under quiet
sunshine
lonely conch shell
sits
tides
ebb and flow
ancestor echoes
leap
into my ear
In a quiet moment of solitude
I fear my life may be slipping away
I watch as it ebbs on the wind
Leaving this empty shell behind
as the walk
and kiss thur the park
love you can't miss
you can tell
both or in a shell
that comes from above
TO BE IN LOVE
The Beach
Shell strewn sands the water waving to it.

O'swimming turtle
At home where ever you go
I envy your shell
O'swimming turtle
your safe place of solitude
I envy your peace
Within this mortal shell I wait.
Till the day it's flesh meets fate.
Then I will fly free and soar.
Above this life that I abhor
you can tell

not living in a shell
as they walk and talk
