What wicked things wail this way?
Nothing that I know of--
Only this cloaking curtain,
This mooned and muted shadowland...

All fright is found in non-disclosure
Within the oily wonder,
Punctured by scars and stars and
Wounded well-wishers 
Wondering upon a sparrow'd wickedness....

Lost my way a while back
Longing for my treasured meadows

Waves of thickened air
Color my bare skin, black
Wiping my mind clear

Not able to manifest 
All hope is bland
Sick and tired of this quest

All curiosity was wrong
This is my Shadowland
Can I really be gone?...

I've read the book and it is so
That death is a defeated foe.

He lurks within the shadowland 
Light being what he can not stand.

In the kingdom, where there's no night,
Death can't exist; for all is light.

Light your houses brightly and everywhere you go
Tell the vagrant, death, out loud " be gone defeated foe."

Sometimes
Nothing stays the same
Where ever you turn
The wind
And its’ song
Can never return

In the shadows
Of the heart
I felt
Its’ bony fingers
Clasping
All of my night

The shadows climbed
I could feel the dread

In a Shadowland
For my heart
Lives in light
I can give only so much

           dark side 
      of life 
Always finds us
     Doesn't matter 
if you 
    are a lucky man
with everything falling into 
place
   Eventually you will 
pass into Shadowland
   fallen angels that
we are 
       still counting on our 
luck to see us through
    We are living 
on borrowed time
Fallen angels that we are 
We will eventually 
      find peace
  But it will be a 
long and difficult road
