Witch
Which way does the spell go?
Where does her fury go?
Wry face and fuming heart
Wilted meadow we see
Witching hour saddles her
Waiting to cast the spell
Walking on mystic lanes

Every Tomorrow
A new day
The door opens
Pathway
Dawn harbingers
The unseen unfolds
A sojourn
Questions
Flood our minds
Further
We journey
More saddles
They sculpt and build us
We stand with a brave heart
Gloom
Diverse part of life

Schooling
Broken tables
And itchy saddles
But still on
Leaving over this worth
Appreciating all as they come

Lost vigor
And fallen figures
Yet still on
Throbbing so long
Seeing it afar
But still holding so far

Dark morrows!
Piercing sorrows!
Almost over I hope
And thinking it’s done
Headed for quittance
With hugs for success...

Old Sins Have Long Shadows
Old sins have long shadows
Old sins have many a morrow
For beds of tulips and bones burrow
And though they blossom in the spring,
In winter, they are but a shadow
For they veil the eyes that saddles no sorrow
And blind peace and hope like they blind land and wallow
But shadows are long, they penetrate above like below
Onto the worlds of the past and morrow...

Inhibition
INHIBITION

Failure to heal from what or who hurt you,
automatically inhibits you from getting through,
causing to bleed those that didn't cut you.

Failure to forgive those that smite with pain
saddles you with heavy heart & look of disdain.
Certainly, this is a lifestyle you can't retain.

Freedom
I'm a creative spirit
Running wild and free
The chains of slavery
Hold nothing on me
There are pastures
to roam and graze
My life's not in
an eternal haze
Come on baby
Come ride with me
Smell the breeze
Of riding with me
To be eternally free
No saddles are required
Just a loves desire
Passionate and being
Wild and eternally free
Come on baby
I envite you
To ride with me
Let's be eternally
FREE...

Cowboys and Corrals
There’s a long tradition of cowboys and their pals,
Watchin’ buckin’ broncos settin’ on wood corrals.
It’s something they enjoys and sure ‘nuff don’t avoids—
But, dern that wood is hard on their ol’ hemorrhoids!

Feels like they’s sittin’ on a brandin’ iron that’s hot—
It’s an awful feelin’ that ain’t too soon forgot.
And ridin’ saddles ain’t much better I allows—
But leastways there’s more paddin’ than them wood corrals!...

Space Cowboy
I'm a space cowboy
riding imaginary horses
with black light saddles
herding cows in my closet
my six shooter is my finger
making bullet sounds with my lips...

My ten gallon hat
filled with false optimism
borrowed from a circus clown
in a barnyard outhouse...

My posse are ghost riders
in the milky way
we lasso Taurus the bull
and have shoot outs
with villains
shaped as shadows
on the star dust trail....

The Cowboy's Way
Fighting lost battles,
Riding on old-fashioned saddles.
Wearing an out of style hat,
Never affraid to engage in combat.

His horse and gun are his companions,
He travels through prairies and canyons.
He sometimes brings his friend the hound,
They make a bed out of the cold ground.

Beer and whiskey are his only medicine,
His protection are the walls of a mountain.
His ways are foreign to our times,
And yet the mountain he climbs....

That's Fur Out
An ostrich can outrun a racehorse,
And their eyes are bigger than their brains
The only birds that have but two toes
Some may even have saddles and reins!

On the old Batman TV series
They added Aunt Harriet, for they
Feared, two bachelors and a butler
Might have overtones of being gay!

Cricket chirps in fifteen seconds
Plus Thirty Seven's the temperature!
The Venus flytrap eats mostly ants,
And tigers have striped skin, not just fur!...

Alternative
The horses are irregularly neighing,
They’re fallen out by tired saddles,
Their wings tore off
And run like sinners.

The next day, in the morning,
Were growing trees instead of wings,
And the veins were quietly laughing,
While losing their way among the teeth.

Yet, the horses don’t worry
‘Cause angels died a night before,
And doctor said “Instead of stumps I’ll make
A transplant of wings of lunatics”....

romance of a Roma waggon
tinkering around the world
dreams of blissful freedom
no possessions nothing to lose
bells and whistles violin music
horses with intricate saddles
gallivanting on free reins
crackling camp fires

before you unsettle
look around you
scapegoating and othering
xenophobic attacks
even a tramp under a bridge
has less ill repute
at least a German born hobo

They Shoot Horses, Don'T They
To tame a horse in freezing winter

One plays a childish "hide and seek"

Caress its mane with future spring

and kiss the hazel moist with love.

Distract its pain with sandy gallops

Along the turquoise dreams of freedom

And while you heal the reddish wound

Recount the legend of the horse with wings.

There won't be saddles only clouds

That sometimes shed rainbows of tears

As darkness falls on killing fields

My soul is neighing as echoes cry......

Ululations of a Maid
Where my body may dwindle,
 As hunger saddles the atmosphere
 But sounds of Joy will always jingle;
 As Mama will lushly care
 Take me to that place

Where shelter may not shield from cold,
Yet I am cuddled in love untold
Where luxury os but a tale,
 But zest never goes stale
 Take me to that place

Where I am clothed in nakedness,
But not stripped of my happiness
 Entangled by poverty's web,
But free from the wrath of a boss
 Take me to that place
 Take me home!...
