directly in dead center
not to be passed by
without respect for changes
in the nature of its face

time-a mighty thing
which causes our sudden stops
in the heat of traveling
go left or go right
but honor the strength of time-

I see where I can break free
I see my path so clearly
These dotted lines you set for me
Can't hold me forever

There's just a roadblock in my course
I am trying to find another exit
I have to use force
But this block is holding me back

And that breaking point is about to slip by

Now I'm stuck crying at my keyboard
Watching the opportunity go by
Life will be unexplored
Because of this roadblock...

Check the rearview mirror, yes makeup ok
Don’t forget the hazard lights of excused abandonment

Some folks’ say all my life I’ve been a BLOCKHEAD.
Maybe if I could have gotten through that last ROADBLOCK,
news of my incarceration wouldn’t be such a family BLOCKBUSTER.
So here I sit all alone in my CELL BLOCK.
I’m suffering a bad case of WRITERS BLOCK,
without a clue the path my mind should take to UNBLOCK.
By the time I get out of here, I’ll need 100 spf SUNBLOCK.
