Swiaaborn Arnold Bocklin
whose art so rarely brought a grin
His works a dream-like reverie
in moody landscapes so free
trees in reverie
interlude of frenzy gone
bare branches pray
stretching limbs for miracle
beauty irresistible
Listen to poem:
let not the moment pass us by
when there is so much of life to live

Seventeen candles on her cake
the world awaits with all it offers
~ a bouquet of budding dreams
Wordku: 5-7-5 words
my reality
brightened by thoughts of eden
just a delusion.
lost in reverie
losing real concentration
only just a dream.
Anyone interested in getting together at a "Soup Convention"- hopefully with Soup
executives, for a night of fun and reverie?????
Fluorescent light
Indigo night
Ruby reverie
Engaging dream
Floating on air
Luminating lemon Lilly
Yellow moon thrilling
midway to winter
morning fog shrouds leafless trees
all color is gone
but the robin still chatters
with the last sad chickadee
his armani scent
and kisses
in my reverie

Autumn Reveries
Autumn spills over
In waterfalls of scarlet,
Golden cascades flow,
Umber symphonies tumble
With magenta fantasies.
Fall is magical,
inking deciduous trees
scarlet and orange...
basking in Her reverie
Autumn daydreams in color.
Experimentalist Emile Bernard
settling to one style he found hard
With Reverie* he became more tranqul
as Madelaine* was his llove idyll
baby star heralds
hail dawning gild glimmering
aloof flora wakes
leaves billow parting top wisp
breath orangey-red's farewell
the chill and the blow of wind gets stronger~ colorful leaves swirl around
they are unsure of their destination ~ my love lost in confusion
High school football game
cheerleaders tossed night sky chill
rhythmic beat of drums
alumni and students roar
October's homecoming queen
Autumn skies shepherd
splashes of blazing gold, red
brown watercolor
descending foliage creak
and shudder, respite and waits

Racing Reverie
Davy Jones
Previously rode roans.
Joining the Monkees he became very cocky,
Later wishing he gone back to being a jockey.
Cascade water flow
Riverbank, vision in green
Ensnared by beauty
Daydreamer, thoughts float away
Perfect happiness.
AUTUMN REVERIE
Now as the year ends
With autumn’s chill in the air
I recall the warmth
Not only of the summer
But also your loving smile
we walk on the stars
sway swirl prance
in joyful glee
sing laugh dance
no tears that rile
sighs has turned yodel
abundant joy
sweet reverie
Form:
wind whispers a tune
while golden leaves sway and fall ~
day gives time for night

when maples blushed red,
you came as a whiff of air,
nudging into me.
I drift to a reverie,
in which I so love to drown
Peach pearly pronouns
Only exist in my mind
Even when I write them
They dissolve like sand in time
Regal red reverie
Yolk in my eggshell of peace
Dream leaf “fall” usher
motley hue cascade unfurled
dull grey sky gaunt sun
mud strewn pockmarks on limp moss
wet nabs ripe fruit orchard splurge
