A young man once reveled in whoredom
debauchery, drinking and wardom
then he got old
it has been told
he died then the cause of death boredom
~ Pizzazz ~
he had it
from day one
no one taught him
he never studied it
born that way
he reveled in it
but never
amounted
to
much
Reveled in love lyric
Rosy pink heart pulsates
Resonates tune of life
Revolves around beauty
Resplendent pattern beats
Rides cadenced waves of joy
Rolls on dancing soul sea
The truth hurts me, like a sad love story.
I try to alter it with dis-belief.
This with trying make it the truth for people to see.
Eventually people solved the mystery.
The truth became a lie that is snoring
She presented all goodness and kind
Reveled in the ridiculous and sublime.
A sanguine disposition, purification of light
And ever so softly with a smile of delight,
She would step on you gently with all of her might……
When my guys were young, Christmas was special
We showered them with joy in which we all reveled
Times were different back then
Seems like we all need to relearn
The closeness of family and friends in life's vessel
I dreamt a great knight was jousting for me
His lance tossed the opponent from his steed
In great joy I reveled
But soon felt dissheveled
When mask was lifted, Nancy Pelosi!

I liked Democrats
when they acted like Republicans
(and)
I liked Republicans
when they socialized with Democrats
I liked women
when they reveled in their difference
(and)
I liked men
—when they didn’t act at all
(The New Room: August, 2022)
Toddlers played with the birthday balloons
Elders smiled at their generations
Parents of parents of parents reveled
In this celebration of family.
The gifts sat at the tables
Re-telling old tales
Re-kindling laughter’s lilt
The cake was chocolate

she sent
me recently
photos of those
things that may grow
since last
seeing her her
finger and toenails
have certainly grown
as she
laughed
she lifted
her charming
arms and
revealed as
i reveled in her
new growth which
made
me make
the statement
let your hair down
Form:
So they roared and laughed
Big Joe was in his glory
He had them all fooled
He reveled in it
Bashing away at the keys
His thoughts ran amuck
But deep in his heart
He knew they felt all his pain
He knew that they cared

Tapping into redemptions dream,
I put my smaller dream aside
And reveled in its greater power,
reclaiming truth from lies
So blessed in this light ablaze,
than by candlelight unknown
In thanks I kindle warm again
recharged—with heart aglow
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)
As one closed his eyes
Rhythm starts in unison
Phrenic sense adored
Reveled in the space
Along the composition
of the universe
A wild trance of belief
Amidst the din in a burg
A recurrent dream

*Morpheus is a Greek god of dreams
I don’t lie-in bed for an extra minute
I will have time for that when it’s too late
Somewhere it is already tomorrow
They are catching life’s new joys and sorrow
My turn to awake and live it out
Every minute reveled and endured
Disentangling myself from this bed
Is not about my arms, but my head
Tapping into redemptions dream,
I put my smaller dream aside
And reveled in its greater power,
—reclaiming truth from lies
So blessed in this light ablaze,
than by candlelight unknown
In thanks I kindle warm again,
—recharged, with heart aglow

Why do the summers of my youth,
In memory seem unending?
The days were warm, lovely and long.
No sorrows needed mending.
The world created just for me,
I reveled in its pleasure,
As contented as a child could be.
Each day a special treasure
In that life I used to know
In those days of long ago.
The silhouettes of the mountains reveal a face
Enveloping the irises with a mystifying gaze
Far into the depths—lost faces are revealed
The spirit of the empty and lost—reveled
And as the darkness burns throughout the night
One is left with a sense of reverence for the forms
One is left with a tempest—elevating the soul
A glimmer a shimmer
And then a throb
I reveled on the throes of the Orb
Resplendent in the spectrum of seven
Deciphered i the contours of heaven
Twin spherical conjoined at eight
Edged me towards the ethereal gate
And stepped as i on the celestial portal
Sure...these numbers were never in spate---

How true is the saying that youth is eternal and glorious only for some,
when hearts are free of worries, they know nothing of human pain;
fantasy suddenly begins and dusk that brings night delays to come...
and as wild and incredible it might seem, it always recalls home!
Youth must be lived, not wasted, but be reveled in happy refrain.
Both Zane and I
stood, rigid with terror,
in a desolate area
of the old golf course.
My dad,
Who was emitting a
siren song for the
same rabid beasts that
killed my rabbit,
reveled in the moment’s hilarity.

XVI.
They spoke kindly those.
They reveled fondly of theirs
Of tender times reminisced.
Journeys made in fellowship.
Deeds for the sake of deeds.
Forgiven solely to forgive.
They broke bread partook of salt and imbibed wine.
None can speak ill of such charity.
Of this a query arose.
Thine was not of those.

Sheila was careful about choosing lunch for his pet. It had to be colorful
and lively. He liked chasing them around his cage a few laps and feeling their
fear, before he gulped them down in one giant gulp. She looked over the mice.
One of them was particularly pretty, a caramel color. She chose him.
she fed jake live mice
he reveled in chasing them
fear surrounded cage
There was a time when had we met
We'd have rushed to take what we could get
We'd have felt the heat of passions fire
We'd have reveled in our deep desire
For these are the things that lovers do
When damp with feverish sweat they woo
But sadly, perhaps, we met when we
Were past that stage in life you see
Cruel time has cooled our ardors
So now we are likers, not lovers.
I think of you when fall is in the air,
remembering that warm September night
I reveled in your long and tender stare.
Those kisses! Why can’t anything compare
to then? Now even stars seem not as bright!
I think of you when Fall is in the air -
remembering that warm September night.
