Happy Birthday Grammy

Toddlers played with the birthday balloons
Elders smiled at their generations
Parents of parents of parents reveled
In this celebration of family.
The gifts sat at the tables
Re-telling old tales
Re-kindling laughter’s lilt
The cake was chocolate

I posted a chocolate cake for poets on my birthday. Did you get a slice! LOL The poem is called Let Us Celebrate.. Few did. As if that could stop me from writing. Big deal. Gramma Pangie

Sounds like a good time…and yum chocolate…who can resist the dessert and conversation!
