Memories Escaped
memories escaped
from the subconscious
mind were they had
been hidden away
for years
recapture the memories
repressing and
suppressing them
once more
locking them back up
once again in
their mental prison...

Silence and Noise
Silence
                  Mute, Speechless
     Squelching, Repressing, Squashing
 Tranquility, Serenity, Oblivion, Calmness
           Speaking, Talking, Sounding
                  Loud, Thunderous
                           Noise...

Repression
Repressing old memories,
Past pictures burnt and torn.
Finding the love of my life
And never wanting anything more.
Sitting here wondering
If this is how it was meant to be.
He is my life
And all he will ever need is me.
Holding him close,
Never feeling us drift.
Shifting back and forth,
Shuffling in my head....

Repressed Memories
repressing violet memories
suppressed love of blue
formation of reactions
rationalisations
earth is revolving
around the sun now
are you absolutely certain
todays science
tomorrows ridicule
displaced reactions
inhibited intellectualisations
sun is sinking into
the womb of the
waiting barren sea
the pinky twisty tongue
taste of salt and tears...

an immigrant
they granted him
a pass
some eight generations past
first, depressing
later, repressing
regressing
turning generational curse to blessing
and now messing
and fiddling
with rhyming and riddling
for an extended verbal stint
roger that

and all the
usual suspects...

Repressing
though the ring says
you shouldn’t,
the hips say you
should &
though lips say
you wouldn’t,
the thoughts say
you could &
though the eyes want to do it,
the hands
wanna be “good” &
though society is
watching,
the groin is sporting wood &
though the panties
are moistening,
the mind’s misunderstood &
though the heart is
beating faster,
there’s torment just under the hood....

Silence isn't golden, but a leaden weight effectively repressing freedom of speech. Accepting dictates without proper debate, silence builds a barrier your voice can't breach. We live in a world where we fabricate facts, and our friends are merely computer contacts. Silence is a shield that cannot protect you, you must speak up for what you know to be true. On Journeys of the Heart
On Journeys Of The Heart

Lost and wandering in the dark
Bereft of any map or mark
Futile efforts fail at embark
On journeys of the heart.

Vain travailings silent, unheard
Are bound beneath unspoken words
Repressing what could still be stirred
On journeys of the heart.

Still faint intrepid thoughts unfurl
Mangled within a broken world
Pacing relentless in this pearl
On journeys of the heart.

Poetry
Beautiful language to
engage deep down inside.
Lost in translation
and often tossed aside.

Stories told with passion
written with short length.
Meant to be swallowed
providing subconscious strength.

Various emotions
expressed in different ways.
No rules or regulations
repressing words to be amazed.

A simple way to lose yourself
in tale's you don't own.
Perhaps you might gain an extra
enlightening stepping stone....

Death Is a Woman
Who is that old woman,
The one who's sitting on that bench?
She looks at everyone who passes
As if her heart would wrench.

Tell me why she looks so sad,
Is she a friend of yours?
She leans upon her ancient cane
As if to hide her many years.

Who is that little woman?
Whose wizen eyes turn to the skies.
She somehow looks familiar,
Sitting there repressing cries.

The little woman rises and
Turns to look at me.
"Its time," she says,
"I’ve come to set you free.”...

Torment
When will I understand protection is a unconscious mutation Feeding off a unmanned ego while angels and demons cause aberration The scab is bleeding and sliding off into the depressing depot of allegation Ugly, still hiding below the repressing master of acclamation Breathe in the fresh air of the depressive headmaster Clinical and brash he has the mind of a succubus Cleave out the abrasive control with my mind racing faster Urgent to a brainwashed child, a testimony to torment

Questions Asked Not Answered
Why do we pretend to care?
What's the point in trying to keep a false peace?
A fake of what my true feelings on the matter are.
Never to be shown, lest the pain uproot the remaining sanity.

Bottling your feelings is better than letting them spray about.
Soaking the walls of social circles and causing a scene.
Satisfaction granted that I cannot give.
I cannot continue to bleed for the cause.
The lightheaded feeling from loss of the blood is repressing my ability to think clearly....
