Unspoken Intimacies

You cup my face, and ease my mind
You sway my hips and make me rhyme
You contradict my silent death
And dissolve my selfish pride

Rain

Drops falling.
The tears of gods
Forgotten or forsaken
Tapping at windows
Begging for repentance
Those
Cruelly recalcitrant
To their design.

Premium Member The Repentance of Herakles

For I, who have brought winter on our world,
Whose fists in bloods of innocents have curled,
Do not propose to live but for the day
That something of my past, I wash away.

Repentance Is Of Change In Behaviour

Repentance is of change in behaviour.
Unbelievers with no misbehaviour,
Do they so need to repent?
Yet believers do lament...
They are so far from Jesus- the saviour.
Form: Limerick

Prayer

O God, forgive us,
and accept our repentance,
have mercy on us,
for You are the Forgiving,
Merciful, and Acceptor!

Please, note that Acceptor means The Accepter of Repentance.

A Sapphire Oblivion

It's a beggar's repentance... Two swans dance between the mist and the stars. A sapphire oblivion rages from the moon. ...with a pocket full of apologies.

Preaching repentance in his flowing robes
Abstinence from that which stains the soul

The ascetic slumped forward, face downcast
Neglecting his body, he'd breathed his last

There once was a word who tried to belong,
but all of his contexts seemed to be wrong.

He stole a thesaurus and sought out repentance;
but now he's in jail with an unfinished sentence.

Pieces

Zebra stripes
Red and whites
feather light as lightning strikes
leather tight and coiled spikes
sharing thy sentence
feigning thy repentance
reaping scarlet tomorrows
sleeping varlet sorrows

Black Seed

The sins of the father
the sins of the son
Repentance left vacant
each sorrow rerun
An age of despondence
an age of denial
The past beyond hope
—the future beguiled

Ode To Childhood

Tender petals of youth wither and fade

Stinging the soul with regret

Sharp penance of years

A yearning too deep for tears

A token of repentance

Times short pleasure to take

Youthful mirth vanishes away

Your Cart

Your Cart

Brothers, hear me don't judge me.
For repentance in my heart--
Retrieve the rocks you hurled so free.
With love fill the empty cart.

Lost

They were lost
out of the ordinary
a time within
a newer journey begins
senseless thoughts
a count for the days
amazed, in a daze
confusion, alone
a reality, surreal
heart-broken
a time spent
repentance.

Wisdom

The bloom starts no repentance,
it is not afraid of the slip just yet.
each gentle wind is a sigh from the sky.
be scented now, then learn to die.
It is the fleeting we become.
in how we glow before we've gone.

Wisdom Thoughts

For those who risk,
all honor and all glory,
but for those who don't risk
only the existential void...
Repentance is a remarkable feat,
makes forgiveness possible...
But for those who insist on mistakes,
all shame and reproach...

Premium Member An Angel Fell Down From Hell

An angel
Fell down
From hell
Today
His body unburned
With so much to say
He said the war was too much
And he wanted to try his luck
As a human and ask
For repentance
Get closer
To heaven
To pay his penance
The honorable way

Repentance

For years I lived in solitude
Wishing I had you to hold
Trying to tame the attitude
That made you stiff and cold

I'm walking bare on bended knees
Braving the flies and all the bees
Throwing lashes on fresh scars
Hoping to end our wars
