I am haunted inside,
there's a ghost upon my heart
repelling love

and I
I am frightened
by this specter
who rasps of malady
yet somehow I feel secure

my soul calls to you
in it's translucent skin,
but no one (not even God)
can save me
from being absorbed within

these bones 
they squeak and bellow
like an older home
yet I
I am only 32
with barely a pen 
to hear me...

at the center of a world,
a bi-polar magnet

enticing others
for gravity defies
its own law.

I long to reach
to touch them all,
redirect their lives
forgetting I was once adrift
as they – 
full throttle, no compass,
destination – somewhere.

I stand alone
as time must hang
its hands
on history.

turns you to a repelling babbling exuberant. 
Shutting of orifice floodgates you eschew,
forgetting everybody isn’t fool around you.

Torn to shards if you blurt bullsheet absurd,
do a volte-face eating your crappy words.
Try to not gulp them dry in stigmatic drouth*,
for a fly does not enter a closed mouth.

Wearing a dark veil.
Her train, carried by the wind,
Stretches long into the evening.

Growing weary, waiting
To cast off oppression,
Tears break restraint.
She cries into the night.

Her anguish falls heavy,
Repelling her friends.
All is lost, for now,
Until her mood is spent.

Fair weather friends awake,
The earth has quenched its thirst.
The storm relinquishes its hold,
And the sun smiles in victory....

How much more can I take?
The betrayal, the lies,
sanity's at stake.
we strive to compromise,
try to comply
It's a lost cause,
our ocean's ran dry.
Enthralling at first,
true love, so rare.
A wicked trick,
a trap to ensnare.
You took advantage,
you took and took,
you'll see my cupboards are empty,
if you cared to look.
Love so blind,
I gave and gave,
never seeing
you only sought to enslave.
Like  baron land
so harshly weathered,
